Dr Emily Davenport, as the owner, needs to step up and make changes as a business professional. It is past time. The changes she has refused to make revolve around her system and the training of her staff and certainly, not having adequate amount of office staff. The two gals are quite often under excessive pressure and are easily stressed. I have declined leaving this review countless times over the past year or so due to ONE reason: my loyalty to Dr Turrell. She has been the primary ND I have turned to, spanning a time frame of 2 decades. I simply adore her generosity, mind, passion and helpful spirit. She has helped our family much. The office, however, leave A LOT to be desired. And when Unique screwed up on almost every task she has worked on, for months I said NOTHING. NOTHING to her. I extended much patience. But one day I had enough due to her non chalant attitude. That was the last straw. She leaves a lot to be desired honestly in the way of competency (that I am afraid training will not help being that she has been there awhiile now and the duration on the job barely seems obvious) --and in the way of professionalism. I can usually navigate the wacky system with Stephanie who knows her way around more, but at times, she is so overwhelmed (understandingly so) that she hangs up if I express any expression of LEGITIMATE frustration and if simple tasks can't be done for WEEKS after multiple requests. That is unacceptable. An example: due to what Unique said was a big lawsuit issue between Davenport and a former ND there, when I requested my records, not only were they not sent after numerous requests, but after repeated calls, emails, etc NONE were even returned, I finally heard back. The office gals had refused all contact because they apparently were under the impression that they couldn't send those records (or contact me?) to the previous ND (whose care I'm also under). It was positively ridiculous, time consuming and disrespectful. Literally for weeks they refused to reply because the office seemingly was so bent out of shape on those inner office / dr drama matters. Again, lacking in professionalism. Perhaps you, the reader, are better off seeking treatment at an office who will value your time, energy and PEACE. Medical treatment needs not only be kind (I can only vouch for Dr Turrell in that regard at that office honestly based on my experiences with several of the current practioners there now) and as far as knowledge, there are MUCH more informed ND's. Davenport, Winters and --especially-- Dr. Victor, offer nothing cutting edge or above mediocrity, the latter two are rookies and it very much shows, based on my experiences with them. (Very hit or miss). For example, Erin Victor had to go check with colleagues on very basic progesterone questions as if she were still a second year student. If Davenport takes over an office, she has a responsibility to own what comes along with it. I have not seen that happen. It is disappointing and with great sadness that I have lost patience for this process. Again, for so long, I restrained every inclination to leave a review, representative of many of the hassles with this office (most of which this review does not come close to illustrating). I can no longer do that in good faith. Intentions are mostly good here at the office for the most part, but intent coupled with reliable action are what truly shape experience. He took the time to discuss my history and my conditions. A tens unit was employed to relax my muscles. The therapy was taking 15 minutes. It does not need to be constantly monitored. An assistant was close by should there be any issues. Yes, he did see other patients during the 15 minutes while I was on this unit. Which is just common sense efficient use of time to tend to other patients. My upper back was causing numbness and loss of strength in my arms and hands. I've been visiting Dr. Adham (Doc) for about 1.5 years now. Doc and the staff are extremely friendly and just plain fun to see and be around. Doc starts by putting heat on my back for about 5 minutes, then relaxes the back with a massage tool. He starts by adjusting my back face down, then my neck face down (my personal favorite). He then adjusts my mid/lower back on each side, and finally my neck again while lying on my back. I typically do neck "traction" which helps restore the curve in my neck. I wasn't a fan at first, but it's really helped my neck a lot. Some patients do back traction as well. Doc does do open adjustments. All 3 adjustment tables are in the same room. I must admit I thought it was a little weird for the first 2-3 adjustments (I'm a little more introverted), but have loved it since. I've gotten to know several other patients. Even if you don't think you'll like the open adjustments I encourage you to try it out for at least a few visits. Doc has always been very fair in his pricing as well.

Our eldest daughter is battling cancer and has a 3 and 5 year old. She is under going chemotherapy and continuing to work through her final year of residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Residency is a surmountable challenge of itself let alone undertaking chemo treatments every week. My Wife and I have been taking turns flying back and forth and the appointment for Saturday eluded me. I advised my wife Susan to take my place so Hannah wouldn't miss an appointment and my wife could get a wonderful massage that would be sorely appreciated.
