I was seen in this office a number of years. There was always a revolving door as far as providers…read more Each time a new one came they wanted to change all the meds I am on. Frustrating. Not nearly as frustrating as the practice being sold to Aurora Surgical Center on University Ave in Flagstaff. Patients were not told they were being sold off. A very unprofessional office. At the appt I decided to leave, the the male receptionist (who looks like a Proud Boy, short, beard, redneck) was screaming at me at the front desk. He screamed "I have fired 22 patients this morning and I am happy to continue". He had veins popping and he was out of control, yelling about all kinds of things. I thought this guy might take a swing at me. I was in tears, I had to ask 5 times for him to make me another appt. (My last). I get my chart notes and the provider wrote that I made a disturbance at the front desk! WTF, when is crying at the front desk, asking for another appt a disturbance? I could hardly be heard because the Proud Boy receptionist was out of control. He was escalating the situation rather than trying to de-escalate the situation. His behavior is why I chose not to return to this practice. He was out of control and should have been fired. He was downright scary and all I wanted my appt so I could leave. When I picked up my notes this dude receptionist was complimenting me and trying to azz kiss. Not having it, got my stuff and left. I have worked in medical my entire career as an Administrator. Never have I come across such bad behavior in a medical office. Usually it's the patient that is mad, not the damn PB receptionist! Flagstaff has crappy providers for medical care. I am going to the Valley.

During a replacement of a new wire that broke. Why would a doctor have a loop in the wire,? Why…read morewould he use and leave so much unnecessary wire in the back? Why would a doctor force a wire into the back where the nerves run, possible spinal fluid leakage. Dr. Brownsberger tried to re-insert a new wire. He could not go back into L1-L2, he went to L2-L3. Had difficulty again however instead of discontinuing Dr. Brownsberger forced the wire in hitting a nerve that paralyzed my left leg. Took me a a year and a half to learn to walk. 6 months is a wheelchair, a walker for. 4 months and a crutch. Thigh muscle atrophy, looks like jello the muscle does. Neuropathy this is a killer. The ongoing pain, numbness, tingling, throbbing weird feeling with the foot, from the hip to the foot. Foot pain, top and toe pain tingling, underside of the foot feels as if there is a ball there when walking Have fallen over 75 times. I have to concentrate to walk. There are times when I am unable to get the leg to react. Living like this because of the ego of a doctor horrible. Dr. Robert Brownsberger needs to feel and understand the pain, the miserable life he gave me. Do not get a nerve stimulator. Live with that pain, it is better then risking your ability to walk like a normal human. Dr. Brownsberger took that away from me. No remorse he has. Lack of compassion and responsibility.
