We needed a place to stay near Tuba City and there weren't a ton of options, then this tiny house popped up on Airbnb. We stayed in the "farmhouse' tiny house which was super adorable. Great kitchen, large bathroom and shower! We slept downstairs in the bedroom and our little one in a travel crib in the kitchen area. The Clubhouse and chickens were very fun amenities to have for travelling with kiddos. There are additional tiny homes and RV sites on the property as well. We noticed some visitors hopped of their RV right out onto a trail off the property. Definitely not any dining options closeby, we brought a cooler with food which worked out great for us. Very fun glamping experience! Highly recommend especially if you have kiddos and aren't quite ready to do a whole camping experience with them. read more

Easy access, full hookups, friendly owner, full moon was nice, wide open forest service land adjacent for walking and our big dogs loved it. Loved the star gazing too. There's a family oriented game and art room with laundry and some workout equipment, and some frozen foods like ice cream and pizza for sale. All transactions on the honor system so sweet. Couches and more to make you feel at home. Live Chickens-- free eggs available. Owner was having a few friends over and invited us to a chili dinner but we already ate and wanted to look at the night sky instead. There was 1 outdoor light over the 300 gallon water tank and we asked could it be turned off and owner was happy to do it for us. Would stay here again and recommend it for families with kids and teens. The property is next to the highway so the road noise was present but I still slept great. read more

We stay here for four nights during the week of Memorial Day (May 24-27, 2024), site was 44, which…read moreis a pull in drive way, fit a trailer and a sedan. (Keep in mind there is a fee for a second vehicle.) Not to far from the restroom ( the cleanest restroom there is) the host really take care of the place, has a facet for cleaning or getting water ( just don't wash your dishes there, not allow) Be ware if ya'll are heading in the summer, there was a few yellowjacket and wasp, we brought a trap to prevent getting strung, didn't get strung but get one if you needed. There were a couple of flies, friend got a fly trapper too so took care of that. When we went, there weren't mosquitos but again, we got a spray and sprayed just in case. I had t-mobile and there wasn't any signal, but if you drive out of the campground, you get signal right away. The site was pretty decent, you can put two tents and have a lot of room, fire pit was pretty deep, a nice concrete picnic table and trees all around; which you can bring a hammock and tied around the truck. Across of the site was the Sunset Crater Visitor Center that leads you to the Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, worth the drive and visit, there's a few view spots that you can bring food to have a picture and the views are just spectacular. This site is about an hour and forty-five minutes away from the Grand Canyon, about thirty minutes away from Flagstaff for your grocery needs. They don't have showers here but I recommend ya'll to shower at Little America Travel Center (2515 East Butler Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86004) showers were only $15.00 (tax included) and they have a freaking bathtub with a separate shower. You have an hour to take a shower or bath, they provide with one towel, hand towel and a mat towel. Especially after a long day at the Grand Canyon, a much needed shower that last more than thirty minutes is great. I hope this reviews helps to anyone that is planning a trip there.

The campsite itself was also bad due to uneven ground so sleeping on the non-flat service guaranteed we will not be back (nearly all the sites has uneven flooring). Also really loud hyenas screeching from like 1am-6am so just be wary of that.

I'll just get my only complaint out of the way right away: the maps on their website are very…read morelow-res, you can't see the names of the trails very well, the trails you use to get to the yurts. However, there are some higher-res photos on this Yelp page. Also, they are very hand-holdy about all the rules for getting to the yurts. After talking with them, I get it. There are lots of Gumbies coming up from Phoenix with zero outdoor experience getting lost on trails. We are all pretty experienced in winter, trail, and off-trail travel, so as soon as we were able to convey that, we were good! These yurts are perfect. You have to hike to get into them, so you avoid any sort of crowds you'd have if you were car-camping. But, the hikes are really short, so you can still have a pretty bougie outdoor experience, and bring lots of heavy stuff! They also provide grills and port-o-potties. We stayed in the Columbine Yurt. There were 4 of us, and the fit was perfect! The stove can get the yurt nice and toasty, just sure the window flaps are closed so you can keep that heat in! This was a great place to stay while hiking nearby Humphreys Peak. I would absolutely come back!

We had plenty of wood and a hatchet to chip pieces off for tinder. You may want to bring your own fire starters they have use some old mail which was not paper and hard to catch/ smokey. We brought a pot and stove top coffee maker that we placed on top of the wood stove to boil water for coffee and oatmeal. There is a provider propane grill for cooking. We also brought our two dogs who had a great time. Lots of hiking on the trails.
