Excellent setting, great location and just the right balance of scale to the natural beauty around. My only gripe is about the abysmal service by the Caucasian French speaking staff at the Sunset restaurant (which is the only restaurant on location) towards some guests rather than others. Nobody should be subject to poor service for any reason.

We just returned from celebrating our 47th Anniversary from this paradise (thanks staff for celebrating with us) that we have stayed over 17 years. Everything was wonderful as it is always. We saw many of the staff who remembered us and some new. The front desk Roselyn, Ruth, Maureen and their colleagues. Laura in Marketing (didn't get to see her this time), Housekeeping Sandra and especially Helene. Security staff both around the premises and outside as you waked to Grand Case. Hileman, Jimmy who were always around to help us with anything. Everyone working as a team to make the stay enjoyable. This paradise is located in a beautiful setting with spectacular sunsets from your room, the beach, Sunset Café , close to Orient Bay with its many restaurants in the evening , close to Grand Case, the supermarket and L 'Express for delicious pastries. It all works because of process and staff brought in by its GM Stephen Wright and his lovely wife who runs the gift store. A French paradise that works because GM Wright has 'Americanized" services, standards and marketing so everything runs much more smoothly than anywhere else in the Caribbean, while maintaining the beauty of the French side of this island. We were deeply saddened to learn from staff and then confirmed by GM Wright that this December, after 27 years of loyally building (and re-building post Irma) this property to be one of the most favorite destinations anywhere to stay, they will exit in December! Over the years we have personally introduced 37 family and friends to this property and they in-turn others. I worry under its new management (none of whom came by to introduce themselves although on the property.there was a get together scheduled but possible rain interfered), there may be staff changes (please keep the front office and anyone else mentioned) , changes to quality of services, friendliness, standards ..that will affect the superb reputation this property has enjoyed. I hope the Board will try and keep the Wrights on in some capacity (if the Wrights are willing) so that for so many of us his presence will ensure continuation of excellence. Although we had not seen GM Wright for 2 years, on our last day we met and he knew which room number we occupied even though we had moved rooms. That in itself is a display of the superb quality of service so rare to see elsewhere. Finally a word to my fellow guests and it involves gratuity. It pains me to see so many having the front desk make reservations every day and although not required, not showing your appreciation. Given the many blessings we received from Housekeeping I could tell the $10 we left each and every day was appreciated. For the size of suite and deep cleaning every day, that should be a minimum. Security and staff who helped out the same. Just think of a family being able to walk securely to the town any night and if each family gave $1 to the guard, it would be such a kind gesture. The café includes the gratuity.so remember the staff who make your visit so memorable. I leave every review with a highly recommend because I knew who was running the property. It gets a 5 based on our stay however I will be interested to look at reviews after GM Wright exits. We wish him and his family the best for always giving of themselves to make all of stays so wonderful. And of course to the local staff who do the same

Very quaint, relaxed boutique hotel. It has a great layout. If you are beachfront, you walk out and you have two lounge chairs right on the water and steps to walk right into the ocean. They have rafts you can use and other water sports, the water is very calm. There is one small beach but well suited with wait staff. There is a great bar and restaurant that are all outside and overlook the water. Lots of French spoken and French cuisine. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Condos are basic but clean. You won't want to spend any time in them because there are so many places in the resort to hang out. If you are American, you will need to bring an electrical adaptor. Everyone takes US money and credit cards. You are about a one mile walk to the town of Grand Case where there are several excellent restaurant. St Martin is VERY safe. Never had any problems or worried about getting anything stolen, The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. A nurse comes every afternoon to give rapid covid tests for $50. This is not a luxury resort and they are doing some construction behind it but it really has everything you need and the views are fantastic. Food was good and staff very friendly and informative. I would definitely come back and I'm a snob!

What can I say except if you want a piece of paradise this it. The Grand Case Beach Club is a perfect spot to decompress from the stress of life. From the wonderful and friendly staff to the two fabulous quaint beaches, you can't go wrong. Always quiet you can just melt away your worries at the beach. For dining you have the lovely Sunset Cafe on site. Or a 3 to 5 minute walk into town proper for dining choices galore. You can't do any better than staying at the Grand Case Beach Club.
the beach on the grand case beach club is stunning - perhaps one of the best beaches on the island. Equipped with plenty of shaded seating, a full bar and beachside service, this beach will not disappoint if you're looking for a more relaxing experience. My only gripe with the hotel is the staff at the sunset cafe. The sunset cafe staff located within the hotel and while it boasts beautiful views, the servers are nothing shy of abysmal. that being said, the bar staff is way friendlier read more
Room 55 should come with a disclaimer. Within less than 24 hours of checking in, it became clear that this place is nowhere near acceptable standards. The second bedroom bathroom had visible stains in the bathtub from the moment we walked in--but that was just the beginning. When we actually turned on the faucet, it ran brown water. Not "slightly off," not "maybe it's the pipes"--brown. Naturally, we checked the primary bathroom, hoping it was isolated. Unfortunately, the water there was also questionable, which raises serious concerns about overall water quality. To make matters worse, the floors throughout the unit were visibly dirty upon arrival, making it clear that basic cleaning standards were not met. The entire space felt neglected and not properly maintained. We documented everything with photos and videos because this situation was that concerning. This is not just about aesthetics--this is about health and safety. We will be vacating immediately and pursuing a full refund. I strongly recommend future guests think twice before booking, especially if you're assigned Room 55. Also, the front desk manager, Roslyn was not kind with our request to vacate the property and continues to say that we have to be charged to penalty of an extra night for leaving early. Very disappointing. read more

Need a better solution for the flies. If you zoom you will see. Within 2 minutes of food being delivered to the table, a fly was in the food. It made it impossible to enjoy the great views or the food that should have been great. Rude to the chef for them to not figure out a solution. read more

Putting this message in a bottle: This place is awesome! A little slice of heaven. Definitely a boutique hotel. The coziest rooms, and best sunset bar on the island. You'll find yourself happily accommodated with each room having a full kitchen. The beaches are very clean, water is often calm, chatter relatively quiet, and the creole rock sports desk can make the day a lot of fun. Grand Case offers so much in respect to culture, food, and a more chic bohemian beach style of life opposed to Phillipsburg, Marigot, or other beach communities on the island. Rent a car if your stay is a week or longer, it makes exploring the island, getting provisions, and mobilizing much easier. Consider this place for families, and romantic getaways. Amazing staff, and exceptional service. One Love. read more

Spectacular stay at Grand Case Beach Club! The room was absolutely spectacular--super spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The on-site restaurant and bar were excellent, with a great selection and consistently good food and drinks. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and the venue itself is just beautiful. Best of all, it didn't break the bank--great value for everything you get. Highly recommend! read more
