As a facility that is certified both by Nissan and by Safeco insurance, they made my short list for a repair covered by insurance. Afterr gettting three quotes, their approach made it immediately obvious there'd be a quality outcome. They were mid-pack in their estimate, but I chose them because of their existing reviews and the certifications mentioned above. Am I ever glad I did! My truck looks actually better than new, literally the paint quality is better than what it came with. These guys met ever commitment and beat their own schedule estimates. I came to GCC following an following damage done to my bumper and passenger mirror cover. They made the entire process very easy. Scheduling of estimate, drop-off and pickup went without a problem; even with work done December 21 through 23. GCC communicated with the rental car company, called for my pickup from their business and allowed me to leave rental on their property to avoid back and forth transport. Work is beautiful. I can't tell that I have a new bumper and mirror cover, perfect match to my uncommon color. Employees are super friendly. Easy to communicate with and didn't treat me like a dope. So I hit a deer. Not to much damage I could still drive. Took over 5 months to get in. They repaired the deer damage but now there in a dent in the opposite side if the car and my infotainment screen is very scratched up. Wasn't that way before. While paying copay, they talked to me about dent repair and I remember thinking I have no dents you fixed damage.. but now I know why. read more

My wife was in an accident, and needed some major repair work done on her car. When we walked in the front door to see if they did visual estimates the associate behind the desk asked if we had an appointment. We didn't. AT that point, (remember we've been there 1 minute), he SIGHED heavily and said "This ALWAYS happens at this time of day!" (It was 2:30p) then we decided to take our INCONVENIENT business elsewhere. Went to drop off my car at Grand Central Collision promptly at 8am as their business hours are listed. All the mechanics showed up to work on time, however the receptionists did not. A mechanic let me in as the first receptionist rolled in around 8:15am. Wasn't to pleased with the tardiness because I had a 9am class to get to. As I was leaving with my carpool, we followed the exit path around the building only to find a locked gate...so we had to back up around two corners in order for us to be able to turn around and exit through the entrance. Despite the series of unfortunate events, GCC did a decent job with fixing my car and on a timely manner. I will not be coming back here, however. read more

Well, first of all, I am really not sure who the person is, who wrote the one star review, but I had the completely opposite experience. This was not my first time to Grand Central. I went in about three years ago, with a scraped bumper. The owner was so nice to me and gave me a couple of different options. He suggested the much cheaper one and he was absolutely right. I was VERY happy. Now the latest time. My car was backed into by a Canadian. For any of you that do not know, getting hit by a car from British Columbia is only the start of a nightmare. This happened over two months ago and two weeks ago, I finally got approval to get my car fixed (government controlled insurance). There was not other place for me than Grand Central. Lois, who runs the front office is awesome and actually helped me out with my insurance company and the lame one from Canada. She could not have made it easier and did things that they did not do. She is a sweetie and I just may have to go back to see her! My car went in last Monday and yesterday - only five days later, Lois called and said that my car was ready. It was beautiful and immaculate. They had detailed my car and it has not looked this nice for ages. Not a one sign of the dent and pain was perfect. I have had body work done in Seattle and Kirkland and this shop is, by far, the top one. This includes customer service and workmanship. I met a lady, who was picking up her car also and she told me that Grand Central had been HIGHLY recommended to her. As for the jerk who gave them one star - try being a little nicer and more patient. Grand Central is very busy - HELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - they are GOOD. I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYBODY!!! read more

Just had the worst customer service experience of my life here. First they put off my repair a week. Then when we show up for that they said it was supposed to be two weeks. Then they argued and argued and argued about their mistake eventually hanging up on us after calling us liars. I don't know what kind of work they do on cars. But this was absolutely the worst customer service ever. Take my advice go somewhere else. read more

Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want your personal belongs to get stollen or have someone go through your stuff. I took my car in for some exterior repairs and thought my car would be in good hands for 2 days, but when I got it back I noticed that all of my personal belongings that were in my car had been moved, they had gone through the middle console of my car and my iphone that I use for music had been stolen. The customer service throughout getting this resolved was a nightmare and finally when I was able to talk to the manager he said "there's no proof so there's nothing I can do". I trusted that my car would be taken care of and did not imagine this would ever happen, but then to get treated the way I was after showed what kind of business this is! DON'T LEAVE YOUR CAR HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TRUST ME IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!! read more

I talked to reception and made an appointment based on what my insurance told me to fix a smashed window. When I arrived I talked to Travis- who was helpful. They told me it'd be better to take it to Louis auto glass and they'd help sort out the insurance if there was an issue. At Louis auto glass they sorted the insurance and got me in to fix it by the afternoon tomorrow. This is a word of advice that if I had followed my insurance directions I'd have been without a car for at least a full 10 days- as they originally told me to wait a week for their first available insurance appointment - and then told me next quickest was a body shop... In the end, I've just gone to where I would've in the first place. I'll review on Louis auto glass when I get my car back on their Yelp page. But just want to give Travis a 1+ at Grand Central. read more

Fender Bender. Did other work at same time as insurance work. Very reasonable rates. My wife was happy with finish product, which means a lot, since she would be able to tell if things were off with the paint, etc. I lean on her for that stuff, since I don't see it as much. They've always been prompt, they've kept me informed if the repairs would take longer than they estimated (1 time by a day) and the workmanship has always been superb, especially in matching paint.
