It makes sense as a lot of the items are glass themselves or otherwise fragile. Lots of jewelry, watches, and even a good case-full of old pens and pencils (most not in the greatest shape). Perhaps one of the most interesting collections is the one along the left wall with lots of old WWII items and a huge collection of knives both antique and newer. Further back in the store you can find the larger items and furniture pieces. There's a cool Coca-Cola-everything booth. Tons of stationery and postcards. Many old boxes and containers still sealed with the original product inside. Staff is a bunch of friendly older folks that it was a pleasure to chat with. I walked around again and again and I found new things every time. This is a true vintage store and is not just a cluster of junk like you find at other shops. We stopped by…read morebecause the building was cool but got into a lovely conversation with the owner (who is super friendly) and explored the entire store. It's a eclectic mixture of antiques, modern handmade items (like bowties, children's toys, jewelry, goat's milk soap, and beard supplies), and items that are repurposed antiques with a fresh spin (we saw a bed lamp made from vintage siren - very cool!). If you're in downtown Lubbock, this is definitely a place to stop by!
