Enjoyed stopping in to this trip store going through Lubbock. VERY full of all sorts of things. I thought the prices were reasonable - certainly lower than Goodwill. Make sure you have time and a truck for all the buys yo make! Very friendly staff. No credit or debit - bring cash. read more

Except for the fact that I AM a disabled American vet, I have no other connection than that. I bought a nice pair of boots here for about 10 bucks, two years ago, after I got to Lubbock and I still wear them. I'm not a cowboy but, I live in Texas so, I had to have a pair of boots. I prefer my jeans and boots but, have to wear special shoes since I am a diabetic. read more

This used to be one of my favorite thrift stores. Everything used to be very cheap. The prices were raised so dramatically that I rarely visit anymore. Most things are far too expensive for a thrift store. They're nice enough, and occasionally there are some decent finds. I would avoid this place. read more

This store is packed full of things! You may have to search around and do a little digging but you will find treasures! I came away with a cart load of awesome finds. There's a lot of clothing, furniture, home decor and glassware. A bit of everything! The staff was very helpful and kind! Make sure you bring cash or check. No credit or debit cards accepted but they do have an ATM in the store in case you need to take out money. A great place and I'm sure I'll be back soon. read more

This place is ridiculous in the best way possible. They have so much stufffff! I bought two rubber kewpie dolls, some fake strawberries, and a fuzzy little doe statue for like $3. Everything at this one is incredibly cheap and let me reiterate: a lot of things. Craft boxes with tons of doodads, fabric( which is a plus for me),actual vintage clothing, books, and those little rotatey metal things full of old polaroids and family photos. Pretty much come here if you are a collector of the old and weird. read more

Really dingy place with garage sale leftovers. Wanted to like this place as I don't mind digging for treasures. But there was nothing to find. Maybe it was just the day but we found nothing! Lots of clothes if you are looking for that kind of thing. They tried hard the people working there were nice!! read more

This place looks like a "stuff bomb",went off inside! They look like they turn away nothing that is given to them. Gabby M. is pretty spot on about the place. Random old stuff piled high! However there are some jewels hidden throughout the store. It is half the fun searching through all the stuff in there. It does have a smell to it that reminds me of an Army Surplus store. (they all smell the same) I would go back again and like the previous viewer stated, stuff is cheap! God Bless our Veterans! read more

Love this store! I've been shopping there for years! Always something new whenever I go there, which is typically every week. I love their furniture pieces, though it tends to run on the high side. Owner and staff are always friendly and willing to negotiate on prices. I've bought various items there, from James Mont style chairs, to vintage purses. To me, this store is a combination of a thrift store and an antique shop. Luv it! read more

best prices on clothes and other items, though furniture is generally a bit high for this type of store. but i just love the feel of the place. half the fun for me of thrift store shopping is the hunt and i get the feeling at the DAV that a hidden treasure is behind every corner. also, the proprietor of the store is always friendly and willing to negotiate. thanks for a great experience for over 20 years. read more
