This cantina prides itself on making their own fresh pasta, but to my personal taste I would prefer a good quality packed pasta "al dente". Overall, nice family-style atmosphere, nice service, good food, well priced. Not an authentic Italian restaurant, but will definitely be back!

I wouldn't recommend the couvert. It's $18 for goat cheese + bacalhau + chicken liver pate (similar to foie gras) in Port wine. The whole assortment was interesting, but they have a single type of french bread which was bland. Appetizers * Cheese Salad (Salada ao queijo St Marcelin Empanado com nozes) was good, but I wouldn't get it again. The fried cheese was very interesting touch * Tartines were very good, I'd recommend. They had a thin crunchy toast base, and the toppings were lively and tasty. Dessert * Excellent place for dessert, everything we had was outstanding * The Tarte tatin was very good. The apples had a balance between firmness and softness that was extremely good. The tarte crust was thin and soft. * Café gourmand - comes with a creme brulee, chocolate mousse and a macaroon. Probably the best chocolate mousse I've ever had. The texture is amazing. They said the mousse was the main house dessert based off an 80 year old recipe.
