It was a few minute walk to the old town and there are cafes and shops very close. I recommend requesting a room with a balcony with a view. It was spectacular! Unfortunately, we had bad weather but it was still gorgeous. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel because all the other places were closed because it's out of season, but the hotel restaurant was very good as well. I was not disappointed. They also have a good breakfast buffet.
