The room was clean, temperature great, and the beds were so comfy! They even brought us more linens for the kids on the trundle bed. I'm the morning, breakfast was delicious (with healthy options), the fitness room and pool were clean and kept up nicely, and when I had my hands full upon returning to my room, one of the staff even helped hold things so I could open my door. Bathrooms and shower were very nice, and the hotel is right next to a great Starbucks. We will definitely return on our next road trip!

The front desk was phenomenal but each morning I was up I had to search for the attendant because their bosses made a baffling decision to have the receptionists make breakfast making them abandon the desk, the whole point of their job. Fix this hampton inn, breakfast staff does breakfast so the receptionists can do their own jobs at the desk.

A handful of the bugs were able to make it inside the doors and one apparently traveled on my sneaker to our room causing a yelp of horror when it started a journey up my leg! In the morning, we discovered that the man made lake outside our building was apparently the cause of the swamp smell. It didn't smell in the morning (unless we were used to it by then), and it was actually quite pretty. The room wasn't bad, but the bathroom wallpaper above the shower enclosure was peeling, bubbly and moldy. Unseasoned travelers that we are, we were under the impression that breakfast was included as "hot breakfast" was listed on their website. Not. There was a hot breakfast (mediocre), but although cheap at $3.99/pp, it was not free . I don't really care for fake, over friendly staff, but Mary at the front desk could crack a smile and at least pretend an interest in my questions. The ladies attending the breakfast buffet were friendly.

First, I didn't know Choice had gift cards, and second when I am traveling I would definitely not being buying random gift cards. I have been a member for 15 years and have only used points for hotel rooms. Choice corporate will not assist with this thief, so I have had 40,000 pts stolen from me from someone at this hotel!! DO NOT TRUST ANYONE HERE! Plus, my husband in the morning in a big hurry accidently left 2 bottles of boxed insulin in the frig---they claim it was not there. Trust me there are very bad people at this hotel. The only thing good was we left alive and without bugs. Just beware your information is not safe here.

Upon getting to our room, I immediately noticed a strange wet stain on one side of the headboard. Obviously this made me uneasy. The bed was too firm and full of coils that I could feel. Not a good nights sleep. The breakfast was pretty good, but not great. Plenty of options but the quality was fairly low...particularly the eggs and turkey sausage.

If you have to sit down to use the toilet you might as well sit on the floor as the toilet is super low. It would be right height for a toddler potty training but not for an adult. But if you're looking for the real mid-west experience, that is where you want to be. I came across this town during my roadtrip through the USA in the summer of 2014. Situated on the main street of Ravenna, the Inn is just a minute away from the few local bars and restaurants. Again, nothing fancy, but good food and great drinks. Inn owner Jerry is the nicest person you'll ever meet. He drove me around town in his car, showing the town's sites and introducing me to various local people and businesses. Next morning he took me to the local bakery where we had a nice breakfast. I left Ravenna with nothing but warm feelings for the town and its people.
