This was my initial visit to Grand Lely Dental. I did not have a local dentist, and I was dealing with a cracked and infected tooth, as well as a cavity in a wisdom tooth. They performed x-rays and extracted both teeth on that same day. Dr. Bujila was exceptional and provided a thorough explanation of the procedures that would take place. Overall, the experience was excellent. The staff was truly remarkable and incredibly kind. The dental office is new and very well-maintained. Grand Lely Dental does not know how dental insurance works. They must accept payment on the explanation of benefits and I should only pay the patient's responsibility. They however keep billing me for more than the difference. They have cashed my checks and the insurance checks. They tell me the insurance did not pay but they cashed the checks. Had a crown replaced that another dentist in another state was most probably unnecessary. An assistant vs a dentist did most of work. Temp crown came off almost daily. I am so impressed with everything about this office! It was my first time, and I was greeted by cheerful, happy people. They made me feel comfortable right from the beginning. My hygienist, Zena, was not only a sweetheart, but so incredibly thorough and explained every single solitary thing that she was doing. Dr. Kristin Tracy was wonderful. Went for my 2nd yearly cleaning First time at his office, I have dental insurance coverage and received a bill that said I owed ZERO when I walked out which is what I expected no charges because everything was covered, then surprise 2 months later I receive a bill for uncovered services because they performed services and never did the pre authorization with my dental carrier prior to my appointment, because of course with insurance there are some restrictions so I explicitly stated to them before my cleaning which I booked Aprox 3 months in advance (more then enough time to pre-authorize) to verify with my insurance what is covered and only do the services that are allowed well they never did this and that's why I later received a bill. When I called & asked why do I have a bill when I walked out of office that day it was ZERO. they said they did pre authorize with insurance but if they had then I should have been told before any services were preformed what was covered and not covered and then I could have made the decision to move forward with the services. so I called my insurance carrier and my dental insurance called their office directly while I was on hold and my dental insurance told their office they never obtained a pre authorization from them for these services it's not required with my coverage but of course you don't want any big unexpected bills when you go to check out . That's why I explicitly said they needed to pre authorize seeing it was my 2nd cleaning. I have never have had a bill for my cleanings in over 30years with previous offices because they always verify first then explain & leave the decision up to patient. I have Spoken with the billing dept numerous times and they will not admit this was their error. they are in network with my insurance company. So this type of error should not have occurred. read more

Just finished getting my crowns put in by Dr. Bujila. To say I'm ecstatic would be an understatement. Dr. Bujila gave me a full smile makeover and I couldn't be happier. Not only was the entire staff terrific and the procedure relatively painless, but they were also able to expedite the permanent crowns to inside of two weeks so they would be in before my trip overseas. The final result exceeded my expectations by an order of magnitude. If you're not at all happy about your teeth and/or smile you should book an appointment with Grand Lely Dental. I absolutely hate the dentist and procrastinate until I absolutely have to go. However this was the best dental experience I have ever had. Normally I feel some sort of pain during and after a procedure but here I felt nothing and felt great the whole night and was able to eat normally after having the crown prepped and put on in the late afternoon. I needed a crown. When I went in to get the the temporary crown, I was surprised that they did not make an impression of my tooth. The permanent crown did not fit properly and after 3 adjustments and a lot of pain, they finally suggested a new crown. I now have the new crown and it seems okay although a week after getting it, I still have some sensitivity to hot and cold. I'm hoping it will be okay but certainly not going back. Dr. Kristin's bedside manner needs improvement as well. No one at the practice has ever apologized for my inconvenience in all this. Not good. read more

i had benifits left for the year and dr. bugila could have just filled a side cavity , but he decided to do a cap more money .. so he grindes down the tooth puts the temp in and 3 weeks later i go back for the new crown . he was just back for one day he was out sick . he was rushing i sat down a girl was messing with the crown that should not have been , he comes in and it was not fitting good and was grinding it down for a long time with out checking the fit . finally he puts it in and it was rough and my mouth was hurting . when i left that office my face was swollen . the next day i went back and scene the other dentist and she said wow my gums were very inflamed , my tough had a cut from his drill and i showed her how the crown did not look like it was fitting the area right . i had sors , cracks all over and cuts . what the hell did this guy do . i have to go back again still sensitive to water . he says everything is fine . now i go for my cleaning and i told her about the sensitivity , she tells me my roots are exposed . i said what a lyier he is . called the office mgr and said i want a new crown and he is paying for it . and i want some one with experience . cut to the chase here i hav the the temporary removed with my help yesterday the girl could not get it off , i told her to put some gauz on her tool so she could get a good grip it worked ... then she goes to put the new crown in and did not push it up in there enough and it falls out into my mouth . i almost swollowed it . and by the way notes were told by robbin to put in my chart i can not have the regular numbing meds he uses out of know where it gave me tacky cardia the first time i was there . well he used it again and it was worse this time . my throat was swollen , cheek swollen ichey . hard to swollow etc. could not sleep . my toung again had cut marks on it and cracks etc very uncomfortabel . i called the office this morning when they opend to find out what i should take and no one called me back its 510 now .. the plain disreguart for the safty , comfort and plain negligence of this dentist and his student staff that he has been hiring latley is ridiculous . doctors are held to higer standards and take an oath , well he truley failed his paitent not just once but twice . i guess in the country where he got his licence they are not held to a standard of care . i would stay away from this guy from my experience . read more

They were absolutely awful. And when I say awful I mean it. My little brother was terrified and sobbing because the dentist tried to tell me I couldn't be in the room with my little brother during a cavity fill due to "HIPPA" privacy laws. Being in the medical field myself, I knew this was a load of BS and demanded to stay in the room until the procedure was complete. The dentist didn't like that answer. She decided to go have the receptionist come back and tell me to leave the room immediately. I again explained that under HIPPA privacy, a 10 year old has the right to a parent/ guardian/ caregiver present in the room. The receptionist didn't like this answer and got up in my face to start screaming telling me to get out. I walk back in the room to find the dentist crying and apologizing to me (uh what). Needless to say I will never recommend this place and god knows what these people had in mind to do to my poor little brother. Never bring your children here please, it's dangerous. read more

I will never go to Grand Lely Dental care again! The dentist Boris Bujila is very soft spoken and has great bedside manner. That's it! I had an infection & extraction. I was prescribed antibiotics & 800 mg ibuprofen. On a Friday day after the extraction I called the office & spoke with a female around 8:30am & informed them I had Covid. I explained that since the stitches in my mouth would have to remain longer than normal would extending the antibiotics be necessary? I wanted the dentist opinion. By 3pm I called the office again & was informed by a man the dentist left at noon but he would take message and reassured me I would get a call Monday. By Monday it would be to late as the antibiotic I had would have been finished. I never received a call that Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday. I did get a call to keep an appointment. I had words with office manager & she apologized. Apparently the right hand didn't know what the left hand had or had not done. After accepting apology I went back and went through the same all over again. The second time though not even the dentist bothered to call to see how I was doing. After the 2nd procedure & extraction I bled excessively & awoke to blood on my pillow. The left side of my face was swollen & I had pain swallowing. It took 3.5 weeks for the swelling to go away & for the pain swallowing to go as well. I could say so much more concerning their billing & procedural costs. Instead I'll just conclude, I do not recommend this practice to anyone!!! read more

I came to Grand Lely Dental Care yesterday for an extraction, and I can't stop singing their praises. My experience with them was so positive, and I'm going to list the reasons why: To begin with, Jen (at the front desk) was very accommodating and was able and willing to get me on the schedule as soon as possible, and the entirety of the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had a wisdom tooth that had been causing me problems for years, but I'd been told by several dentists that the extraction would be too complicated for them and they couldn't and wouldn't do it. The doctors at the office, Dr. Bujila and Dr. Ramke, collaborated on a game plan for me to get the tooth out for me as painlessly and efficiently as possible, and I was very impressed by the teamwork and the execution. It's always great to see a functioning team, especially in these settings. The thing that had me the most impressed, and quite frankly touched, was the dedication to patient care -- I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and one of my biggest triggers is blood. The assistant, Kaitlin, listened to all of my concerns and assured me very patiently that everything was clean, but was more than willing to reclean things in front of me if I asked to make sure that I was comfortable. I was given a set of headphones to put on, and she logged the computer into Pandora and put on calming music for me to listen to during the procedure to help me keep from panicking. During the procedure itself, both she and Dr. Ramke worked meticulously to keep me from encountering blood, and I was frankly blown away by how effective they were. All tools were kept behind the chair, Kaitlin kept the suction going as much as she could to keep me from tasting the blood in my mouth, and she wiped off all instruments (including mirrors, suction, etc.) as they were being taken out of my mouth. She even had the room cleaned up before I even got out of the chair. I went through a rather difficult extraction and never once saw a drop of blood. I was amazed. I know this created an extra level of challenge (and extra work) for Dr. Ramke and Kaitlin, but they never once complained about it or made me feel bad for needing the extra assistance. The dedication to making sure I was comfortable was amazing, and as someone with a disorder like this, it is seldom I feel I'm being respected and taken seriously with these concerns. The whole team worked so hard to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be, and I am so impressed with all of them, and I am so grateful to have had such a positive experience. 10/10 do recommend. read more

Stay away from this place at all costs! Warning, they are not only incompetent but they are everything you fear most about a scamming dental practice that just wants your money. All i wanted was a cleaning but no they insist on X-rays and a full exam. I went along with the exam but had my home dentist send my X-rays. after 2 weeks of round an round with these fools, i arrive to my cleaning appt. and guess what. no cleaning unless we get full X-rays . i told them they were sent and that we'd been through this 2 weeks ago and again last week when i confirmed . but no they want the full rip off so i walked out. Then they called and said they got the X-rays from my dentist at home but they were'nt complete. Oh did i mention that my previous pre-appointment i was called to come an hour early and they kept me waiting for an hour. just find someone else . This group is completely a waste of time. read more
