Good food and polite service especially for a buffet, went early in the morning to get freshly cooked food. I decided to try small amounts of all of the food before eating a decent bit of rice and noodles to fill myself up. Only complaint was that a lot of the food was fried/a bit oily but it's a $15 buffet where you can eat all you want. All in all, a good experience. read more

for all things chicken prepared according to the finest chinese traditions. one of the nicer buffets I've been to in Iowa. good variety of dishes well stocked for lunch and dinner if you get the timing right. booth or table seating that can accommodate 1 to 20 people and split checks with out too much fuss. not sure what the beverage situation is like since I usually have hot tea and ice water but I am pretty sure there's no alcohol. usually come here when I'm feeling real chickeny since they have it about a dozen different ways: fried, balled, sticked, sesamed, peppered, lemony, generally, and so forth. you can also find some broiled fish, shrimps fried or steamed, garlic breads, rangoon, egg/spring roll, doughy-nuttty things, lo-mein, green beans, cheesey potatoey puffys... and stuff, along with a cold bar with salad, fruits, and desserts. read more

I would use the term "Chinese food" loosely here. Granted, there is plenty of food and most of it even tastes okay. However, there is a limited selection of food items that I would actually call Chinese food. It's more of a hodgepodge of different items. Kind of like when you order a movie or a book online, how they give you little suggestions like: "If you enjoy this selection, you might also like...". There is everything from fried chicken to broccoli beef to grilled salmon to California Rolls to soft-serve ice cream. All of it edible and filling. The salmon is rather good, actually. The rest is kinda' meh. The people working there are always nice and even if you find yourself hanging around a little later than they stay open ( totally unintentional! Dad was visiting from out of state), they will work around you until you finally notice that they are waiting patiently for you with friendly smiles that you know you would never have been able to pull off had the roles been reversed. I have to give them an extra star for their friendly patience. If you want your stomach filled and a friendly family atmosphere, this is the place to go. read more

Very nice people that own it. The food,if you get there when it is fresh ,is decent. They tend to let it set too long and then it is kind of gross. This is the best buffet experience I have ever had. The food is what you'd expect at a Chinese buffet, fried and steamed rice, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, chicken on a stick and potstickers are always included. They have California rolls included on the cold buffet line. Our favorite entree is the peppered shrimp and lo mein. The restaurant is kept clean and the staff are very amiable. Keep them in mind next time you're thinking of eating at a buffet. read more

Although they don't have the greatest selection I've ever seen, their service is exceptional! If they are running low on something you want, they will quickly go more out there for you. Their service really impressed me. read more
