I contacted Precision Garage Door Service on Tuesday at approximately 6:30pm. They had an appointment for the next day, but due to work neither my wife or I could be here for it. So we scheduled for Thursday. Mike arrived and was polite and professional. He inspected the door and provided me with multiple options. Since my wife wasn't here to stop me, I went with the top option. (Better to ask for forgiveness than permission) Mike installed all new parts, including a new motor, interior pad, and exteriors pad with code. He was efficient, and had everything repaired and replaced in a little over an hour. Then he walked me through the new system. Explaining everything, including the Warranty. He cleaned up everything before he presented the bill. The new system is quieter and smoother than the original. It was not inexpensive. But quality work never isI am hoping it last just as long as the original, which was (9) years. If not longer. I am very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone who may need garage door service.

He not only affixed the sensor but he adjusted some things and checked a few other critical items like the rollers and offered me options-no hard sell. One of them was to get a new door from one of his competitors whom he recommended and candidly states they had better new door prices than his. He then outlined a repair option and gave us a realistic estimate if it would be successful or not. We chose the repair option, he exceeded our expectations and for a fraction of the cost of a new door crafted a solution that will result in our current door lasting at least another few years. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He told us the reason he doesn't mind telling us all of our new door options, including cheaper alternatives by his competitors, is that he truly loves repairing garage doors. He would rather fix up an old door and make it work than sell customers something they don't really need. Frankly when we get a new door, we are getting it from him even if he does cost a bit more than big box competitors. We are senior citizens and simply don't have thousands to buy a new door. Nate fixed our door for a couple of hundred dollars and made it so it will work for several years to come. Wow. He is an answer to prayer.
