I got the pumpkin spice to go with my pumpkin spice donut, and it wasn't overly sweet. My husband got the salted caramel coffee, but his coffee was on the sweeter side which neither of us enjoyed. We also got my kid a chocolate donut and she loved it. The shop is cute and has a little bit of seating and has plenty of windows to look out of if you stay at the shop to enjoy your treats. So why did I give them a 3? And why was this hard to write? This is America, we have the ability to sell what we want and do what we want. But as a woman of color I will probably not go to the shop anymore because of who they chose to honor with one of their donuts, I'll just keep it there.

I understand businesses prepare to close, but if you're still open and serving customers, the food should at least be warm and the service should be respectful. Closing soon shouldn't mean customers receive cold food or feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, this experience left me with no desire to return.
