I was impressed so I decided to go back a few times before work. When I walked in I was impressed to see the strawberry icing donuts holes, however, the pig in the blankets looked like they were old and cooked the day before. The location is convenient, the store itself is impressively large, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. Prices are also reasonable, which makes it an easy stop if you are in the area and just want to grab something quickly. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart once you get past the surface. The customer service felt unwelcoming, particularly if you are not a regular or clearly part of the local crowd. The vibe was more cold than hospitable, which is disappointing for a place that clearly sees a lot of foot traffic. As for the food, the donuts are actually pretty decent and show some promise. However, the sausage in the kolaches was a letdown in both flavor and quality and detracted from what could have been a solid offering. The bread used for the biscuits and similar items is also very specific to this shop and while some may enjoy it, it was not to my taste and felt more odd than comforting. Overall, this is a spot with potential but inconsistent execution. Between the unfriendly atmosphere and uneven food quality, it is hard to justify more than two stars despite the good location, size, selection, and pricing.

About half an hour later my stomach got very distended and the pain was acute. I will spare you the deets but let me just say that I will now and forever think about how long the meat has been sitting out of refrigeration! If they make these before they open they can easily sit out for 8 hours. If they made them the day before or don't use proper hygiene or any number of awful things you can get very ill! It seriously took me TEN days to recover from this and I am a very healthy person who has not been sick in years. I'd hate to think what would have happened to someone who's health is compromised in some way. Just beware of these places that have meat sitting out for extended periods of time.
