I used to love everybody here now they never returned my messages, and now my meds are not getting refilled

I have been a patient for over 10 years. I am extremely disappointed to learn that the Merrimack office has abruptly closed, effectively abandoning all of its patients without notice or a clear transition plan. This is especially concerning given that the Merrimack office had previously absorbed patients from the Concord location after that site also closed unexpectedly. Patients, many of whom have been with your practice for years, deserve better communication and continuity of care. I would appreciate an explanation and information on how existing patients are expected to proceed with treatment, access their medical records, and secure timely care elsewhere. read more

Owned by Matt Hogan since he purchased in 2023.The visits went from 20 minutes down to about 6 minutes no blood pressure or asking how you feel.Nexted moved from somersworth NH to Portsmouth.I was working in Sharon VT got 2 reminder notifications email and a text drove 3 hours 15 minutes on 11/14 Friday when I arrived at the office not a sold there locked up tight know that no note on the door a lot of notes from patients and 6 to 10 people in awe in the parking lot wondering what just happened keep in mind in a lot of pain from bad injuries. Now now the bad part have to get a new doctor but Matthew Hogan will not release any of mine or anybody else's medical records. I had been a patient since 1999 so they had my MRIs CAT scans emgs and all my records Without records you can't get into a new clinic this man was just in it for the money didn't care about his patients at all. You going to the New Hampshire department of Labor records which are on Google he's been taken to the New Hampshire department of Labor three or four times for not paying his help two of the providers in 2mas have now trying to open their own practice from what I hear he's been threatening to sue him on a no-compete cause if anybody runs into a business run by Matthew Hogan stay away you better off.And I have to add in April of 2025 I was put in with a new provider after practice she said why are you here where are your records what's your problem we can't take your insurance this 10 different classes to be on work as comp insurance and we don't take it of course these are all lies that Matthew Hogan forced his provider to do will be fired I ended up having to pay cash $220 per visit my insurance company reimbursed me within a week but it still wasn't right he makes people lie catch the office visits down from 20 minutes to about 6:00 minutes and then shuts the doors would not telling anybody a word and no records got to be something criminal about this stay away read more

Me too. Unceremoniously dumped with no notice, no referrals after 10 years of prescriptions for opiods and benzos. OPLC is investigating. These people are the reason that people end up going to the streets. These businesses created the opiod epidemic. read more

Doctors and PA's at Granite State Pain were always excellent to deal with for me. I have been treated there for 10 years in the Merrimack location. I know why Dr. D and Yelena left but does not help me health wise. Management is the problem and I'm working to take this place down. It's illegal to leave patients without care and leaving us without or records. Everyone who has had to deal with this issue should at least get in touch with state and or federal authorities about this or a lawyer if you can afford one. I can't get anyone to even pick up a phone since the 2nd of June there will be alot of people going to street drugs I can guarantee it. It's sad when someone promises you they will call you back the very next day. It's bullshit. I have been a patient for over 5 years. Within the past few months, I've experienced a completely different experience than I've had for 5 years. My calls are not returned and I'm feeling that I'm not being listened to. My care has become very clinical, with no interest in my health and what I've been experiencing since I began this program. I'm feeling as if I'm being pushed out of this program that enables me to live a better life. read more

Terrible experience after being there as a patient for 25 years. My new provider (I had 4 different providers leave in one year) dismisses you like a peace of garbage. It's ironic that they put you on opiate medication and their practice next store concentrates on taking you off of opiates. It is such a scam and I hope that the Attorney General looks into them as well as the Federal agencies necessary to shut them down. read more

I have been going here for 4 years and was seein Jeanne Ernst and then she left and I was given Donna Flynn who changed my medication and yesterday wanted to change my medication again. my insurance denied covering the medication and it will cost me $500 for 30 days I am on a fixed income and I'm 75 years old I asked if I could have my old medication and I was told that this medication is safer my reply was I don't want this medication I was told this is the only medication I will be offered. doesn't a person have any say anymore about their health care I will not be going back to this place read more

I am currently a patient with The Road by granite state pain. I have no problem with the staff and the doctors in their facilities but their administration is easily one of the most incompetent group of generally horrible human beings. I have been a patient at the Road for going on 10 years and while my time with the nurses, staff and physicians has been wonderful I have continuously had problems with granite state Pain associates administration staff. Let's start with their billing department. A few times during major life events I had to go through the process of changing my insurance provider and after being told be their office everything was fine I would get to my appointment and be told there was an issue with my insurance so that I had to rush around like crazy to get it fixed just so I could get my meds. I don't know if these people in billing care about the patients but it sure doesn't seem like it. Now just today I'm finding out that the office I've been going to for over a year is closing! The staff and patients were given no warning leaving a huge staff of people unemployed just before the holidays! How absolutely irresponsible and unprofessional can't you people be! That's not even saying anything for all of the patients who rely on this office to SURVIVE! those who know know how bad it is to not have their meds. It is an extremely dangerous thing and can very easily be life threatening but does Granite State Pain care? Well they moved the closing from Dec 31st to Dec 16th so I'll give you 2 guesses and the first one doesn't count! Someone in a position of authority in medical for the state of NH should do something about these people because they are out here straight up risking people's lives with their incompetent buffoonery! I agree with the rating from Robin K. They do not like to be questioned or let you express an opinion of any kind. They use a general statement that says you are a problem and they boot you out WITHOUT TELLING YOU and leaving you with no medication and no access to records because they remove you from the portal. My provider lied and when I confronted her I was thrown out. NO WARNING and I wasn't given a second chance even though I had been there well over 10 years. Stay away. There are better places out there that treat you like a human being with feelings and a mind. Just stay away! DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I rate them a zero. They constantly have doctors and PA's leaving. If you have a problem don't voice your opinion or you'll get removed from their program and they will not discuss anything you are out. They live by their computer and it's hard to get any professional one on one. First strike your out if if it's a mistake on their part you are out. They are very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I have been going here to the pain center since it was Dr O'Connells, they have always treated me with respect and dignity. They have helped with my pain from being almost wheelchaired bound to being able to walk without my cane. The people who work here are always happy and friendly! read more
