Staff here are super friendly and I have come here a few times to buy different things at different points in time. They will give you advise, suggest products and also make some things to order. Love this treasure trove and I could spend a day browsing through their selection of things for an old house be it heritage, Edwardian, Victorian etc. One of my favourite DIY shops in Sydney.
