Today we had Hus service our air conditioner unit. He was on time, polite and took the time to run through ongoing maintenance of the unit.

Called them out to quote on a new hot water system My research told me it should cost $2000 max . ..which still would have made them a fair profit...given that they get access to bulk discounts etc etc Not enough for this mob they made it 4K.. I sent them on their merry way.... Customers...dont be lazy...unless you have inherited piles of $$ from daddy!!! . Do some homework yourself before throwing hard earned $ at this mob. I am getting the job done this Friday by the way and it will cost me $1700 in total. Admittedly I sourced a reputable tradie and hot water system myself .. in 2 hours of my time... and has "saved" me $2300!!

All the electrician could tell me was that the fan was broken and needed replacing. One fan would have cost me $809 (excl GST). He didn't carry a basic halogen lightbulb, and could only help by replacing the whole halogen system with LED lights. I had to pay $79 for the privilege of him telling me he could do squat. And that's after he turned up well outside the agreed time slot. I ended up getting another electrician the next day who was able to fix both fans and replace the lightbulbs for $350 (incl GST).

At the conclusion of the job, I paid in cash and in full but no invoice was provided. I was informed that email would be an easier option, and I would have it by the end of that day. It has now be 2 weeks. I have sent countless follow-up messages (without a response from all but two) as well as numerous calls from my phone which either ring out or divert to voicemail. Since then, the technician finally agreed to send it to me on 23/12/19, and I am yet to receive an invoice. I followed up 3 more times and then he agreed to email it to me on 30/01/20. I am still yet to receive this invoice and need it urgently to reimburse my property manager. Something so simple seems to have been unnecessarily delayed without reason. The service itself wasn't bad, but the after-sales service and lack of professionalism really killed my trust in this business. A business who ignores paying customers on something so trivial shouldn't be in business.

Their manners and respect are impeccable and honest. Ferris, in particular, is a real credit to your company! When he left I went up on the roof and removed the tiles to see where the hole was as also there was a burn mark in the photos he showed me, surprise surprise, he didn't fix it and if I was the typical person I wouldn't have known any different and it would have costs us thousands in electricity bills over the next 10 or 20 years etc as the air is going straight up into the roof cavity. I also asked him why the air con had a high pitch whistling and he said because the vents were closed and the filter was dirty and I said that the vents are always closed (except what we want open) and the filter is not the issue. Funny that when I put some tape over the hole and now the whistling noise is gone. I rang my insurance and assessor's and the assessor said that he said he didn't fix it and maybe they would come back some other time. The repair job is 5 minutes, why would you come back another day to fix it, so yes the assessor's are really bad also. I rang Leumeah Air Conditioning and said to him why did you lie and he said, ""I don't know what hole you are talking about"", yet he was pointing to the hole on his phone picture when I asked him if he had patched it. Avoid at all costs unless you want poor workmanship and the possibly of high power bills and your air con not working at it's proper capacity.

The installation day on 13-5-24 was not too bad until the end of the day. When I asked Triston, the last crew member remaining to help to set up the control and the WIFI, about the serial number of the units. He had to climbed up to the attic to check on the inside unit. He discovered that the plumbing work was no good with a puddle of water. He asked the office to arrange the next day to fixed up the plumbing issue. It is a credit to Triston. Otherwise the ceiling will be collapsed in the summer when I turn on the cooling system. 2. On 14-5-24 when the team coming back to fix the plumbing problem, I climbed up to the attic to check what was going wrong and then I could monitor the issue. When I was in the attic, I discovered that the team used the new duct to collect to the final meter of the existing old worn-out duct that collected to the existing outlets. The broken old duct has no insulation power at all. I asked the crew and he said that it should be done like that as the new duct couldn't fit to the existing outlets. He also said that the new drainage plumbing work was an extra to the job. The unit should be collected to the existing plumbing work. The under meaning is we are doing you a favour. However the contract Is: * Supply and install all gas and plumbing components associated with the new air conditioning system 3. I contacted the office and complained about their crew using old duct in the final collection to the existing outlets. The office lady was friendly and caring and listening to my concern. She got Tory, the one who made the estimation (contract) to contact me. Tory admitted that they should use the new duct all the way to the existing outlets and he organised the team to come back on 20/5/24 to replace the old duct. 4. On 20-5-24 when I did the finally check up on the works before I give the final payment. I discovered that one of the fitting doesn't look new. I questioned the crew member and he said that they took it from their office to installed. He contacted Tory and asked Tory to explain to me. Tory explained to me that the fitting was an old stock from their office. I asked how long had the fitting sitting in their office. He couldn't answer. He just kept saying that the fitting should be ok if it is not being disturbed or stepped on. I just wonder why they are not getting new components for each new job. The estimation was * New return air grill, box and duct to be compatible with new installation. 5. From the above experience you need to thick about the following points before you asked Arrow Air Conditioner to have the new ducted system. a. Are you fit enough to climb up to the attic to check on their job? I think some of the crew members will cut corners and think that you won't climb up to the attic to inspect. b. Be very careful with the estimation and needs to be crystal cleared about what is included in your estimation. c. Be prepare to confront with the crew member about your rights.
