We have been taking our dog to Grant Animal Clinic for many years. We had to put our beloved 15 /2 year old dog down. The entire staff was incredibly kind, empathetic, and patient. Very happy to find this Vet Clinic. Took our dog due to allergic break out. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Vet prescribed some new medicines I've never heard of. Our poor little pup has been through so much with his allergies. We've tried so many different methods and medications. We saw immediate results from this new medication. We are so happy to find Dr Fogelberg. He is now our vet for our pups. read more

They're so nice up front but that's quickly where it ends. I chose Grant animal clinic because they're closer to my house and my neighbors recommend them. I thought I was happy with my visit until about 2 weeks after I left. The bait and switch became apparent as I'm checking out. How could they have run a bait and switch? Great question! I originally told them that I needed a rabies shot and everything the state needs to get my county tags. I arrived early which is usually a good thing. I guess it was my fault because I didn't realize they were on lunch I was happy to wait. They actually saw me on lunch which I thought was a great gesture. When I went to check out I was billed but not given any tags.I then inquired about the tag I was told they don't do tags here and that I could use my receipt to get a tag. Well, you should have told me that when I made the appointment explicitly forget my tags and I could have went somewhere else. It turns out I can't use the receipt to get a tag so I'm not going to double vaccinate my dog because if somebody else's mistake. They could have been honest but instead they were more focused on capturing the sale and lied to me to get me to come there. Not upset I left. About 2 weeks later I get an email saying that my dog is late first series of vaccinations. I called out of confusion to see what was going on. All the sudden I refused all these vaccinations that were required when I explicitly asked repeatedly several times but I want all the shots I need to have a tag to go to dog parks. I was then told I refused everything again and did not worry about it as I don't need it. Okay well I guess that makes sense. This is where the third strike comes in and is very recent. I didn't buy any heartgard while I was there. I was instructed that I should check to see if I have heartgard at the house cuz I couldn't remember. I was told that if she was on heartgard that I do not need a heartworm test but they would sell me the medicine. As well as if I heard the same story from every vet I've been to my entire life so it didn't come as anything unexpected. Well I just fed my dog the last heartgard and tried to get a prescription through chewy.com as their price on the medication is very cheap with a special one time promotions. So Grant animal clinic decides to deny my prescription cuz it didn't go through their store. I called to question why it was declined and I said it was because we didn't do a heartworm test and that our office does a heartworm test every year regardless. I told her that that's not what I was told nor have I ever been told this by any other vet I've been to. She then became very snappy with me telling me I refused everything that I refuse to do anything for them and I refuse to test. I was reminded her this is in direct contrary to what I've been told by you and many other vets. Again she got real snappy with me and I became very frustrated tell him that the information is suddenly changed. instead of responding to me or get in the doctor owner on the phone to acknowledge how many mistakes she's made with this account she thinks it's more appropriate to tell me to go somewhere else and hang up the phone. I came here in good faith for my animal. Initially it seemed like the visit was quick and nice. Turns out it was quick because I came on lunch and my dog just got a quick once over and pushed out the door. Whoever Pam is at the office probably shouldn't be at the front desk. Apparently delivering information is too difficult and being open and honest is also not her forte. They almost act like they're being paid commission for sales the way they're denying prescriptions provided misinformation and directly lying to the customer to get them to bring their animal there. I no longer trust this veterinarian's office and will not be returning. I highly suggest if you're a family that maybe I'll limited budget but loves your animals don't come to Grant animal clinic. They will collect your money and tell you to go to the state to find out you have to pay twice noW. read more

I have been a customer of this clinic for about fifteen years and was thrilled with the way they treated all my animals. The clinic was recently sold and the changes were drastic. Prices went up and I mean up. Extra lab works were done at an exorbitant price. And the kicker is this: THEY HAVE CAMERAS ON YOU WHERE EVER YOU GO. YOU ARE UNDER SURVEILLANCE AT ALL TIMES. THEY APPARENTLY DO NOT HAVE FAITH IN THEIR EMPLOYEES AND/OR THEIR CLIENTS. I guess that is why the prices went sky high. I am no longer going there. I do not need to be treated in this manner. I am so sorry I lost the vet that was there before. And they don't post that you will be under surveillance as is required by law. read more

We recently moved to Grant and had heard wonderful reviews about Grant Animal Clinic. We had planned to transfer over when our dog was due to his annual check up, but unfortunately he picked up a little virus from his doggy daycare. I called the office and was able to get him in the next morning for a visit. Everyone was wonderful from the receptionist, to the vet tech and doctor! I love that they took the time to let my pup become comfortable with them and they truly seemed to care about the quality of care and relationship being built between us. I am so glad to find this wonderful office just a mile from my home! read more

I was appalled by the unethical treatment that was dished out to me by this place of business. Just because I refused to put my then nine-year old beagle through their expensive procedure to treat the heartworms, the clinic turned me in to the animal police saying I was neglecting my dog. The officer saw our dog who was obviously well care for, and after talking with him, he told me I was not the only one the clinic had reported over the years. He said he thought they did it as a means to intimidate the clients into going along with their $800 treatment. He also told me to keep giving our dog the monthly medicine because it might bring about a cure--which it did! A few years later, our dog is just fine AND never neglected! read more

Had a 10 appointment at Grant Animal Clinic that I have been going to with my 14 year old dog for for 5 years now, I realize we are going through tough times with the coronavirus and I understood the protocol I drove 47 minutes from Vero Beach to this appointment as they know, I arrived there and continued to sit in my car and try to contain my dog who knows she's at the vet and getting super nervous and wanting to get in and out constantly sat there for 25 minutes nobody acknowledged me there were only two other cars in the parking lot and I waited and waited, had to get back to work in Vero Beach my dog was flipping out I didn't have any phone service to call inside at the moment so when I left I called and guess what didn't really seem like they cared. Not only is this place overpriced and I know it has switched hands, but you make somebody a client wait that long especially the dog is unacceptable! Will not be returning to this overpriced Clinic good luck to them. read more
