Well this is my first review on Yelp, and thought I would look at a printers I have used for years!…read more South Ribble Printing Ltd, based in Preston is a family run business that primarily prints leaflet,s posters, booklets, letterhead etc. I have been using them for around 7 years and have excellent customer service, WITH a smile! Based in a industrial estate, the premises inst something to look at however I have managed to visit once or twice to discuss artwork and graphics. In All they are very accommodating. It's all laid out in a sensible way so you can find what you need, despite the size, and the staff are very helpful. They usually have a good range of seasonal things too, so great if you want to get creative at Christmas!

I usually find something a little different in here too, not just the usually paints and paper. A great place to go if you're an art student or want to try something a bit different. One bonus is that they will often have some of the items that the larger art shops either don't stock or run out of - I was able to get my hands on Karisma crayons here for ages after they were discontinued, and they even held onto their old stock for me!

They also sell items such as oil and acrylic paints and brushes and other equipment necessary for various hobbies. They give students a 10% discount on books and stationery on production of a student card from either a university or the local college. The upstairs has a selection of toys for children aged 5 and over, they also stock Warhammer figures and kits for making model aircraft at the like.

The newsagents is very small and if its busy inside here you will feel squashed up. Dhorats has got some odd opening times and they often close with out giving any notice to customers to. I feel Dhorats prices for their items are good you can find some frozen food on sale to at good prices. At summer times Dhorats is very popular with the kids and teenagers as they come often here to buy their lollies. Dhorats also sells fireworks at good prices each year. Dhorats has always been an good newagents to come to.

They also sell items such as pencil cases and stickers, and bigger items like desks and chairs. The furniture is generally on a 'when its gone, its gone' basis, and they can be quite good value if you mange to catch the deals before they run out. They also offer a student discount of 10% no matter how small the amount you spend. I've never seen the shop in Barrow very busy, so queuing for the till is not a problem, although there never seems to be more than one person on the shop floor at any one time. So if you need any help they have to call someone in from the back.

I came in here the other day to stock up on crayons and play dough for my children and i didn't spend anymore than £3. All of the things sold in here are really good quality. Unfortunatly the aisles in this shop are a little bit tight and it does get very busy in here. I think you would struggle if you were a wheelchair user or if you had a buggy. But overall a great little shop full of high quality bargains.
