Very lovely, pleasant people right from the phone call to get service. Highly recommend Jordan Power for all you generator needs. Thank you Jordan Power Plus! Great Job!!

Two days later we had a power outage and the generator came on, ran for about 35 minutes and then shut-down. I checked the generator to find out why it quit and noticed oil everywhere and an alert code of 1300 (low oil pressure). Upon closer inspection I found the oil dip tube unscrewed and oil pooled on the floor of the machine, oil soaked on insulation and wall, and oil covering engine. The oil had soaked the cement pad that the generator sits on and the gravel and soil surrounding the generator. Apparently, when the service tech did his maintenance he failed to replace the cap on the oil vessel and the oil spewed out. When they came out to rectify the mess and clean up the oil, they did not address the oil soaked into the cement pad, gravel or soil and left the machine still covered in oil. This machine is not meant to run on low oil and the owner's manual warns that inadequate oil can cause engine damage. Jordan Power damaged the reliabily of my generator and their only remedy was to change the oil filter and replace the generator and if available to purchase an extended warranty. My generator was only 5 years old! Their remedy was totally inadequate. I am now forced to pay for getting the area cleaned properly and since I don't trust this generator as it has probably been affected by running without oil, buy a replacement generator. When I told Jordan Power about these out of pocket expenses, I never heard back from them. I guess what they offered was a take it or leave it deal. I rely on my generator as I have several freezers and refrigerators because I raise my own meat and produce. Do not use this company, their incompetence will probably cost me over $5000 to get the mess cleaned up and purchase a replacement generator.

I just finished a custom home construction where Patriot Electric was the subcontractor handling all my electrical needs. Among all the subcontractors, they were the most problematic, by far. When we did the initial walkthrough with a senior member of the company in February, he was grouchy, inattentive, and refused to write down any of the details on the plans that we printed for him. My GC and I had spent many hours preparing for this meeting and presented the plan over a 7 hour meeting with him, and I guess he was just going to remember all these details when the work was done? Not unexpectedly, there were myriad mistakes when the team came to lay my wiring. Switches were wrong, outlets missing. When my GC called them to make corrections to their mistakes, it was met with hostility and annoyance - corrections were grudgingly made. The greatest issue I have with Patriot is that when I requested "dim to warm" overhead lighting - such as the Phillips warm dimming LEDs - I ended up with Smart lighting by Halo that must be programmed using an app to create "16 million different colors" (who needs THAT?). There was no discussion with me to ensure they had selected the correct product. Before I knew it, they were installed all over my house. It turns out that these recessed smart cans are not compatible with a wall dimmer and are wholly dependent on using the WizApp in order to direct their brightness and color. Three months after the final electrical trim was complete, my overhead can lighting is still not functional and no one (including Patriot) can make this lighting function as designed. When I turn on my kitchen, 5 lights are "warm white" and 2 lights are "cool white". If I flip the switch, some of the lights even go from whites to purple or blue! Since these "smart" Halo cans came with a premium cost, I am angry and disappointed that I am still not in control of the lighting products that were selected by Patriot without discussion. The final cherry on top of this insulting sundae is that Patriot just submitted a $1700 bill to my general contractor for last week's visit to try to address the problems with my overhead lighting (failed again), to install an outlet that they missed on the plans, and to fix a pendant light that they couldn't get to function on the first 2 visits. This is on top of the $23,000 that I have already paid for their build services. If you have a simple project, unlimited funds, and don't care about customer service, this may be your company, but I'd personally recommend steering clear. The BBB is also receiving this feedback.
