The problem is that we were told the first year only we would have to pay for the purchase of the lights. From then on only pay for replacement lights and a much reduced price for putting up and taking down the lights. They told me they were putting my lights in tubs with my name on them and into storage for the next year. This year however the cost was going to be almost double from last year. I was however told that if I ordered by a deadline (the gal in the office was on vacation and couldn't place the order)and used a different bulb it would only be a couple hundred more than last year. So, what happened to the lights I payed for last year? And the promise made. They should stick to painting.

Turns out the new neighbor was a retired General Contractor so I figured he probably wouldn't hire a lousy company to paint his home. I inquired about the price he payed and I was impressed with the cost. We called several Painting Contractors to get several bids. Most of them didn't return our calls since most were real busy. One guy said he'd come by for an estimate but couldn't get to us until October. The other bidders had to be coaxed to come out. Not Celso. He returned our call a couple of days later and give us a bid two days later. The price was right so I expected to give up front money. He refused a deposit and said he'd collect after the work was complete. He wanted to make sure we were happy with the job. He said they could start on it within the next few days. Sure enough his 3 man crew showed up and compression washed the house. He said they'd start in a couple days after the washed house dried. I'm telling you if I could give this company 10 stars I would have. They were perfect!!! No messes or missed spots. Every day arrived on time. Painted it precisely as my wife asked. We didn't have to lift a finger. They moved furniture, calked all the cracks, repaired and replaced rotted wood, even cleaned the gutters and removed the down spouts to paint them separately. WOW!!!!!! These guys were amazing and were probably sent from heaven. I would highly recommend them if you want a good painting experience. Nick changed the first 2 appointments we had with him, thus wasting our time since we had set aside time to meet with him. Finally, the third time he set an appointment with us, he was over an hour late, again most disrespectful even though we were trying to give him one last opportunity to bid our job. After spending over an hour with him, he promised to have a quote for us by the following Tuesday (this last meeting was on a Thursday). When we received nothing by the following Thursday, 2 days after we expected his quote, I left a message to please let us know status. He did not return our call. I left him 2 subsequent messages over 2 weeks, asking what is going on, but he did not bother to respond. In the last message, I asked him that if he no longer wants to bid the job, he could at least simply have the decency and professional courtesy to let us know. That was almost a week ago. AND STILL HE HAS NEVER CONTACTED US AFTER WASTING SO MUCH OF OUR TIME! This is a rather stark indication of the true character, or lack thereof, of this individual and what you can expect if you engage him. We strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Lord knows what may have occurred if we had given a deposit and hired someone such as this who demonstrates such an incredible lack of respect for others! We are in Grants Pass, NOT NEVADA.
