    Grape Hammock airboat ride.

Barrett took us out on the airboat! His knowledge of wildlife and Lake Kissimmee was amazing and he made the rise a BLAST!! Totally worth it!! Sandy running the office was super nice, would go again In a heart beat.

Air boat ride with my 2 friends from Wisconsin. They were first timers and loved the trip. Kevin was awesome.

Many trips to Fish Camp ranging from air boat tours, pontoon rental and gator hunting. You could not find anyone as nice and courteous as Kevin, Barrett and there staff. They are always have big smiles when we stop by to visit. Don't know if it's us personally or our Wisconsin survival kits we bring down to share our Northern favorites. If you are passing by call for a spot on the air boat you won't regret the trip. Don't forget your sweet tea. Kevin and Barrett you guys Rock.

Capt Barrett shared his love and knowledge yesterday on a great air boat tour of Lake Kissimmee!! Wanted to do something that wasn't "Disney" and an airboat ride at Grape Hammock was PERFECT! We saw sooo many gators (of course) but we also saw baby gators (so cute!) and maybe 15-20 bald eagles (AMAZING!!) Such a gorgeous bird up close and huge!! We saw a baby deer and wild turkeys... hundreds of birds (can't name all the varieties but pretty). Saw tilapia up close - looks like a goldfish (I had no idea ) and several other beautiful creatures that I'm sure I'm forgetting. Capt Barrett was great... gave us all the info, took us to where we'd see lots of critters and even did a few spins for those who get motion sickness (highlight for me! Lol). Seriously--great excursion and well worth the cost. Spend a morning (or evening)... they do night tours - so cool - go see some of FL's natural habitat!! STUNNING! And FUN!!

Nice 10 pounder right out of Grape Hammock

(The MAYOR Rob along with Tammy, Sam, and Cori helped us tremendously.) After arriving, the kids played in the pool, we ate dinner, and were getting everyone settled for bed when we discovered the camper we rented through RVshare was completely full of ants. We immediately panicked because it was late, we had kids with us, and we really didn't want to pack up and drive back home after already starting our weekend. That's when MAYOR Rob came to the rescue. He radioed in, and Tammy and Sam quickly showed up with a key to a cabin they had available. They helped us move our things, get everyone situated, and completely saved our Memorial Day weekend. It's rare to find people who genuinely care the way this team did. Their kindness, quick action, and willingness to help meant more to our family than they probably realize. We are beyond thankful and truly appreciative for everything they did for us. Thank you again to Rob, Tammy, Sam, and Cori for going above and beyond. This level of customer service is something special, and it's the reason we'll absolutely be back!

Kelly did absolutely everything she could possibly do to help with the situation. She stayed long after her shift had ended. She shows the same diligence in every aspect of her position at CGCG & RV Park. Now for the park, they have some amazing residents, some of who also pitched in. The grounds are beautiful and they have great Bingo on Tuesdays and Fridays seasonally. Location is not far from the theme parks and only a few miles from Legoland

However as each year passed and our fourth year came to an end for our 6/6 agreement the campground had lost its identity and an under current could be felt which lead to our reduced enjoyment, pleasure and clicks were a major part. As the park lost their good snowbirds they were replaced with a whole different type of person. The rec hall where many events are held turned from a discreet drinking scene to a drunk festival as every event was replaced with 40 oz bottles, moonshine, Jell-O shots and pudding shots leading to a quick deterioration. Watching a married women basically sitting on men laps feeding them shots was the new norm. During our last event a hillbilly theme party one person thought it would be cool to drop his pants three times and no one said anything even with management there. Frankly yes he had a bathing suit but seriously show some class it's a family park not an adult club. The same person danced with a women who basically lost her pants to her ankles, It's a shame a respectful park became this and most left events by 7 or 8 pm due to situations. In addition it you like the pool for swimming good luck the volleyball people called Bullyball by some young children took over the pool's shallow end even when it was not scheduled they pushed their way into the pool setting up their net. This went on for a few years and resulted in several awkward moments at the pool in which management did nothing they allowed it to continue however this year was absolutely out of control. This caused many campers to leave the park as the pool kept being overrun during the prime time 3 pm even if it was not scheduled. By end March push back began and people intentionally loaded up the pool blocking the volleyball players when they tried to start a game during non scheduled times. The Landry areas are a joke they raised the price despite many machines not operating correctly including frying your clothes, not rinsing soap, no cold water only hot water. The washrooms in general are in a desperate need for a full gut and renovation. They are often dirty and not presentable for use. The true reality and the condition of park today most of the grass is dead or killed off, most pads are all broken up this includes both the pad and patios. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing as 2 is not enough for the amount of lots, in addition there are rules however these rules are not enforced or for all. This includes drinking and driving golf carts there is even 1 golf cart that is literally a mobile bar. Evidently pot and medicinal pot smokers are a criteria at this campground as no matter where you are If you enjoy the smell of pot it is a multiple daily event this has degraded yearly. It is a shame that this park in a wonderful location has raised it rates $1500.00 per season over our time yet needs serious work. It appears that there is little direction by Management to lead its employees and organize a schedule of maintenance as well as impose the rules

I think if you are a senior citizen, this is definitely not for you. Also everything runs off of cash mostly, no credit or debit cards. We had a 2 night reservation and had to just leave early day 2. We just forged our payment. Would not go there again. The lady in the office was pleasant and in the air boat office was also pleasant!

Ever wonder where the quintessential southern campsites are located, look no further than Camp Mack…read more- this is where the piney woods meets up with the Florida swampland. You ain't never experienced old Florida charm until you been here, the land of airboats and alligators, a place where the mosquitoes swarm at dusk and the screeching wildlife will wake you before dawn. Ahhh this is the life I love, a place where the internet struggles to connect you with the real world, the only agenda here is rest and relaxation, a place where chores are something you'll look forward to, most consist of filling the yeti with ice and can beer and visiting your neighbors on your golf cart or 4 x 4 ranger. There are no strangers here it seems everybody shares the same mindset. I spent five days here and I didn't want to leave when it came time to break camp. This place is known for its fishing and believe me they are plentiful, it's a simple recipe - catch / clean / fry. I like beer but I'm not a beer drinker I prefer vodka so I stocked up before arriving, finding beer is easy if you like the hard stuff it's a trip to town I'm guessing it at least thirty miles round trip and leaving the camp will break the vibe and there's no reason to do that if you prepare. There are no typical days here every is different but everyday is the same in the sense that you own one hundred percent of your time while you're here, it's a place you can turn your phone off and disconnect for awhile and forget anything else exist - I know I don't do that enough but I do know this is the kind of life we should be addicted too. Okay okay I'll review the place instead of the lifestyle that seems to be the norm here. Things to do: cross the street and you're in a beautiful State Park, find a shady spot down at the boat ramp and watch one of the best shows on earth there seems to be an endless number of unique water crafts being launch or being pulled from the water (airboats, bass boats, skiffs, pontoon boats, jon-boats, etc) I say with the utmost respect this place is like the redneck yacht club where everyone seems to have a buzz e.g people ride in the boats while it's still on the trailer going down the road - yes they are creeping along but it's still fricking awesome. I recommend you leave any pretentious behavior at home and pay attention to the dress code it's very easy to look out of place here - acceptable clothing includes - anything camouflage, women should have a few pairs of short shorts and a ragged pair of cowboy boots and any kind of top you can tie in the front, men shirts are optional but a stained tank top and a pair of Tevas gets you status. After the sunsets fire pit sitting beer drinking attire rules can I get a little yeehaw repeat day two and day three and so on and so on. Other highlights include a visit to the outpost store lots of beer and snacks, a indoor fish cleaning area and a bait shop, a outdoor projection screen, community fire pit, you can rent bicycles and pontoon boats or take a swamp tour on an airboat. They occasionally have live music which I hear is pretty amazing with an outdoor food court and beer for sale. The campsites are large and plentiful with full hookups with concrete or paver pads, they offer up to 50 amps, water and sewer all included unless you're planning on staying awhile then you pay for utilities. There are a few bars and restaurants, maybe restaurants is a stretch but you can buy food on property. There's a lodge onsite if you don't have a camper and still want to experience this unique venue. Theres lots more I don't think it's possible to take it all in at least not in the five days I spent here - I believe having a good cup of hot coffee at sunrise sitting in your favorite chair is nirvana, having a cocktail at sunset in the same chair by the fire pit will rejuvenate you, there's nothing wrong with freeing your soul once in awhile...

We reserved a site with water access. Our site easily fit two large tents, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms were as clean as a campground bathroom can be, but the shower water pressure could definitely use some improvement. There's also a small store right at the entrance, which was handy for grabbing snacks or ice. Our only real issue was with the check-in process. We arrived after sunset and, despite waiting twice, there was no one in the front office. Since we'd already paid online, we decided to head to our site and set up. The next morning, we tried again, but still no one was around. Eventually, we flagged down a staff member who was not very welcoming and came off as rude when we asked to check in. Having someone available at the front office, especially after dark, would make the experience smoother for guests.

The prices are pretty reasonable, about $50 a site for water and electric with a firepit and table at each site. The view is beautiful and we almost always see dolphins and manatees swim by. We usually book our site a year in advance but they recently changed the policy that non-residents can only book 6 months out so we will probably have a little more trouble getting a site. There is not a lot of shade so it can pretty hot and the mosquitos and noseeuns can be very intense even during the day. I ran my thermocells almost non stop this trip. But the view makes it worth it. And no visit to longpoint is complete without a stop at the store at the entrance to get the super delicious fish dip. It's a little pricey but yummy!
