The stylist clearly lacked basic skills--she didn't know how to properly brush my hair without pulling, struggled to wash my hair in the bowl, and seemed inexperienced with blow drying. The entire process felt rushed and careless. What made it worse was the environment. Other stylists were loudly ing about clients in a negative way, which created an unwelcoming and disrespectful atmosphere. The salon itself did not feel calm, or upscale--definitely not the kind of place you go to relax or feel taken care of. Despite being very clear that I did NOT want a haircut, the stylist still cut my hair without consent. I also specifically said I didn't want any grey tones, yet she applied a grey toner anyway. It felt like my preferences were completely ignored. I even reached out to the owner afterward to explain my experience, hoping for some level of accountability or resolution, but nothing was offered not even a genuine apology or an-attempt to fix the situation. After 30+ years of going to salons, I can confidently say this was the worst experience I've ever had. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. This place is a joke. Extremely curly? You should turn clients away if you don't know what the heck you're doing! Please improve it's giving racist.
