My friend and I came in for massages in the couples room and it was awesome. All the staff are so kind, starting with Ryan at check in. They were able to get us in last minute and Nick and Amanda were both amazing. She's very good at what she does and she listens. She's also fun to chat with, too. My husband and I had massages booked back to back. I get regular massages and like a medium pressure. I like some emphasis in areas but medium normally works perfect. The massage ladies idea of medium was barely touching me. It felt like she was just wiping her hands over my back. I needed some help. I was in some pain and needed some things rubbed out. I asked her a couple of times to do it a little harder and it was a little, but not much. She was extremely light handed. I was fine after my massage and felt a little better until my husband said she mentioned me in his massage. When she was asking how he wanted it she made a rude comment about me wanting it harder. We both experienced her to be a bit stand offish but I just let it go at first. I just can't believe a therapist would complain about their prior client to their spouse. read more

I just stayed at Flanigan's Inn and Deep Canyon Spa. We were so excited that Utah was open! It was the reason why we chose to come here in the first place. We got the spa and dinner for two package. No detail is overlooked. Spas and treatments can often be risky in small towns with those tourist dollars waving but this place is exceptional. The scent begins to relax you the second you walk in. I got there straight off a trail and Dre immediately let me shower. From the music to her pace and her perfect touch - nothing is overlooked. The rooms are very clean, the tables are comfortable and linens are light and clean smelling. She did not begin with endless chatter which I LOVE. I had a massage and a facial and I am no novice - she is superb. No flapping of body parts or anything and if you are modest - she's got you perfectly covered. Dre was so good that I brought my husband to her - he always has knots! She worked on them and his IT band which is always a hot mess and he was like Gumby afterwards. I had Ellen work on my feet at the same time and again - she was perfection!! I asked about their training because they were so talented. My husband and I booked a 60-minute couples massage during our trip to Zion National Park. We did not stay in the hotel, but prior to travel, the offerings from this spa seemed better that the rest in the area. The massage therapists that worked on our sore muscles (after days of hiking) did an incredible job. They catered the massage to our needs (mine was deep tissue) and helped us relax (and work out knots) after a lot of strenuous activities. The spa was quiet and clean, and the ambience of the massage room was excellent for our massage. I also had a pedicure after my massage. This area of the spa was also clean and was very comfortable. My pedicurist was phenomenal. She was super friendly and took great care during my pedicure. She did an excellent job with nail maintenance and provided a relaxing scrub and massage on my feet/legs. This place was heavenly! My body was very sore and achy from hiking. I was very thankful I was able to make a same day appointment. I opted for the 90 minute hot stone massage. Ashley was AMAAAAZING!! I cannot say enough great things about her. I just melted into a big pile of goo. She also put some essential oil on the head rest so it smelled wonderful and was just extremely relaxing. At the end of the massage she played the singing bowels which was a perfect ending. My only regret was not booking the 2 hour massage instead. At the end of your massage you can help yourself to some flavored water and teas. Well worth the money. This was the second time I've been to this place... so I think it's time for me to write a review. The massages here are AMAZING. Better than any I've received internationally or at home in the Bay Area. For the price, it's worth every penny, especially after a few days of hiking and canyoneering (I did the two hour massage both times.) I was able to book my massages the same day! 1) Each time I've gone, they've offered to let me use their hot tub and/or their multi... MULTIPLE shower headed facility before my massage which is heaven sent, especially after a few days at the camp ground. 2) The masseuses are passionate about massage, and you can feel it in their work. They know what they are doing and know how much pressure to apply. They detect your knots and trouble areas, read your muscle tense-ness? and knots... and get them out of there. 3) Whenever possible, they use organic, natural oils to massage. (Coconut oil, and also a lotion that works like icy hot, but as an essential oil blend) I came out of the massage feeling and smelling amazing. When I go to Zion, I look forward to the hikes, canyoneering and the massages at Deep Canyon Spa. It's a great reward after all that hiking, and you deserve a bit of pampering... so stop reading this review and treat yourself to the best massage ever! I experienced probably the best massage of my life with Christine. She has a very unique technique where she hangs from the ceiling and uses her heels. Very intense and awesome. Had a great couple massage with Sherry and my husband's technician was .. I think Alisha or Alisa. My husband and I both left feeling extremely relaxed. Sherry is very skilled. She gave me a Swedish massage with hot stones and her technique was fantastic. I also appreciated that she wore her mask during the massage. Due to COVID, we've avoided massages but that made me comfortable. After a long hike and bike ride, it was just what we needed. We're also glad we were able to get a last minute appointment just hours before. This spa is located inside Flanigan's Inn. I had an amazing massage done by Naomi (I hope I'm spelling her name right). I did the steaming sacred river stone massage, 1 hour was $95. It was a full body massage that incoporated heated stones, wasn't sure if I would like it at first just because I like firm pressure so I wasn't sure how firm she could go not using her hands and using a stone, but somehow it worked. She kept the chit chat to a minimum, and didn't try to sell me anything, bonus points for her. My 3 other friends also had services done, and each were very happy, I believe Ellen was another therapist who scored big points with my friends. I can't remember the name of the girl who did 2 of my friends eyebrows but she was great as well. They have a lot of services to offer from, massage, couples massage, alternative healing, facials & body wraps, and a full service salon. A huge plus is they use organic ingredients. read more

I was disappointed by this spa. I made an appointment specifically telling the receptionist I wanted to come in as I had a head cold & a lot of pressure on my sinuses, which I was hoping a massage would help with. I was asked for a credit card to secure my reservation, which I thought funny as it was only 45 minutes to the appointment time - what, were they worried I'd cancel at the last minute?!? When I arrived, I was told that they were sorry, but none the staff would agree to work on me (due to the head cold). While I understand not wanting to get sick - I wasn't planning to cough on them, share saliva or otherwise infect them. I would have been fine with someone using a mask if that made them more comfortable, but I was left feeling like a leper as it was. Why not have a policy against anyone coming in who has a cold if this is the outcome? To make matters worse the receptionist who was awkwardly apologetic about the whole thing then offered to sell me some cream that might help with my sinuses and when I asked about their adjoining restaurant as I'd skipped my hotel's complimentary breakfast to come to the massage appointment she brightened and said she could probably get me a $1 off coupon to the breakfast buffet as compensation. Ummm, you insult me, try to upsell me, and then try and buy me off cheaply? It would have been better at that point to offer nothing vs $1. No thanks - moving on to a more professional environment and staff. read more

This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I got a couples massage and we're so impressed and happy with our massages and the service all around! Dre was great! I told her I have issues with my hips and I'd been hiking so my legs were a little sore. She had be feeling like a new woman! The couples room was dim and so comfortable and romantic. Very nice!! I believe karley was my boyfriends masseus and he has been going on about how good he feels and how happy he was with our experience there.
