I visited this head start today mainly out of curiosity. I had a pretty good idea what this is…read moreabout, but I wanted to see it for myself. It's located in the same building as the senior center. I saw two activity buses. There's also a fully functional playground. Head start is much more than a daycare for little ones. It's an introduction to the routine of kindergarten and elementary school. A precursor if you will. As I was leaving I saw a bunch of children going into the playground. They were adequately staffed and supervised by four adults. This is a good thing.

My kids have never looked forward to going to school so much. Plus, they get to go on the most amazing field trips.
