Today was awards day for the first grade only. This is a very modern and large elementary school in school district #2 of Spartanburg County, in Chesnee, S.C. There are five separate first grade classes here. My middle grandson is a straight A student and he earned the following awards this morning. He received third nine weeks honor roll, third nine weeks perfect attendance, fourth nine weeks Principal's Honor Roll, and fourth nine weeks perfect attendance. He's one of those kids who likes school and achievements come easy for him. My wife and I are so very proud of him and we wouldn't miss seeing him get rewarded publicly for all the tea in China! Kudos to the Principal and teachers at Chesnee Elementary School. They have a great educational program going on here! read more
