The staff are nice. But Kyle, the general manager is unprofessional and untrustworthy. My puppy got…read morehurt and of course, conveniently their cameras were not working at the time. My dog has a special need, and I stated that from the beginning. Kyle decided 30 days later shortly after she got hurt that they couldn't accommodate to her. Bowhaus did start an open claim with their insurance company. Kyle received the orthopedic vet exam report and he had the audacity to tell me there was nothing wrong with my dog per his own observation. It was very dismissive and he basically disregarded the exam/ x-rays that was performed by one of Colorados top vet orthopedic hospital. Kyle is not a vet or anything close to it he openly admits. I sent him a video of her limping then he stops emailing me or return my calls. Their insurance company is a joke. Out of nowhere the claim adjuster started raising her voice, cutting me off and then hung up on me. I called two different times requesting to speak to Kyle after speaking to the insurance agent. Even stating to his staff to give him a memo of the urgency of the reason of why he needs to call or I would report Bowhaus Boulder to CDA for PACFA violations of Duty of care. Of course, ultimately Kyle never got back to me.

i never leave reviews but i cannot say enough good things about this business!! i was passing…read morethrough the area in my camper van and had a medical emergency that was going to put me in the ER. i pretty much burst into camp bow wow and asked if they could take my dog for the day or maybe longer. they were super accommodating, doing her evaluation on the spot and even willing to keep her in a separate enclosure after she passed (i worry she gets too overwhelmed/over-tired in play groups). i ended up having to stay in the hospital for 3 nights and they kept her for me that whole time. each time i called to keep them posted on my situation the staff were super accommodating and very friendly, seeming genuinely concerned that i just get better. they gave my pup their house food each day and told me they had people play individually with her, even tho i'm not sure that's usually a service they offer. i think some boarding facilities care more about money/the business than the dogs they look after, but i could really tell that camp bow wow is not one of those places. every staff member i interacted with clearly loves dogs and they all want the dogs to have the best time while under their care. would recommend to anyone looking for a boarding place in boulder!!

They don't sell much of anything, there's few high-end dog food and cat food. I didn't even browse canned food, wasn't much selection. There's some bags of treats, none my puppy was interested in and today, is her 9th birthday! I thought, we could pick up party hat and some treats...hmm, we only picked a Happy Birthday cookie. No birthday hats and I took a free leash (aqua), which I use for training. My only purchase was the birthday cookie and unfortunately, not much else to purchase. *My apologies, my pup made a mess in store and appreciate the employee that cleaned up. Though Tynkerbell was still anxious during her groom, our groomer- Sierra, called me throughout the process to let me know how Tynk was doing. What amazed me was that Sierra didn't give up, like past groomers have!! Besides that, Tynk seemed to trust her and came out looking the best she's ever looked!!
