Updating my review that it's KARI who grooms Remus. I'm so embarrassed that I never clarified when I couldn't totally hear over the phone (dogs barking and whatnot). LOVE her and the team. They're adding a new location (different name) in Wheat Ridge and I'm encouraging my mom to start taking her dog there b/c we love the Peaceful Puppy so much. read more

This spot is awesome! It's a small cozy place where you can tell they love all the dogs that they groom. I was little late to begin with, and then google maps led me to the wrong place (it's right next to the back door of Sprouts), but when I walked in they gladly scooped up my pup and told me it would be no problem. They asked for details on what I was looking for and were able to give me a better price since I was only looking for a trim v. A full cut. They were incredibly quick - about 30 minutes for the cut, blow dry, nail trim, and eat cleaning - and very reasonably priced. When I came back my girl was cuddled up to her groomer and it was clear they had taken great care of her. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

I cannot say more good things about this place. I recently moved out of state and am going through the grueling process of finding a new groomer, and it has made me incredibly reminiscent of how perfect every experience was here. I had 10/10 haircuts every single time, they listened to everything I wanted to a T and I just generally really loved how they do stuff around here. My pup is a tiny guy and he is generally anxious, but every time they said he was good and I truly think it's because of how well they handle him! Prices were EXTREMELY reasonable, they are some genuinely talented dog groomers!!! I miss the Peaceful Puppy so bad, I know it sounds silly, but there is nothing better than knowing your pup is in good hands. Every time I came to pick him up they were just holding him and letting him do whatever like truly I have never seen a place that runs like this. Such a gem. read more

i love, going into the Peaceful Puppy every single Friday! The ladies are absolutely amazing, the customer service is impeccable, and they are always willing to service, my beloved Burnedoodle moose. He is an extremely furry dog, and they love him so much! He gets brushed out once a week and washed every 4 to 6 weeks. christiana & kari are so thoughtful and caring with my animal, and every other animal that always comes through. If you've got a dog, you better go to the Peaceful Puppy for grooming service and if you're looking for a wash, better, call and book it out! read more

The first time I visited Peaceful Puppy I thought my dog was a little bit chopped up. It wasn't the best grooming I ever had for my golden doodle. This time I sent my daughter to pick up my dog and she was treated kind of rudely by the front desk and when I got my dog back she was completely chopped up and I was not pleased. I expect better work for $100. I think I'll be looking for another groomer. read more

I am so pleased with The Peaceful Puppy! I needed to find a new Groomer for my two beloved Shih Tzus, so I visited this salon before I made an appointment. I was immediately impressed with the relaxed vibe, and the happy dogs who were not in cages, but walking around in gated areas. Both the Front Desk person, and the Groomer were welcoming, and answered all my questions. I made an appointment, which was a month out due to their busy schedules (another indication of satisfied clientel). I was told that they would call if they had a cancellation. I then received a call a week later when they had an opening. When I arrived with my two dogs, the Groomer, Juno, took time to discuss what I wanted, and look at photos of desired results. When I returned to pick my dogs up, they were successfully interacting with other dogs, which is great because they are not used to socialization. I attribute that to the relaxed approach at this salon. I was very pleased with the grooming results; Juno had them looking exactly like the photos that I had shown her. Twice as expensive as Petco, with lesser quality. They will quote you a wait time of 2-2.5 hours and take over 3 hours. I have a non-shedding dog, and I was covered with his hair upon him sitting on my lap after grooming. And the haircut was scraggly and uneven. Trust me - go elsewhere. read more

I'm unhappy with the cut, much too short and the cost from my original quote went from $80 to $125 to $105. I won't be going back.

I had an amazing experience with Peaceful Puppy! I love that I could bring my two small dogs together, and that they were not caged. The grooming was very thorough and carefully done, and the two women who were helping were incredibly lovely and helpful. They obviously love dogs and treat them super sweetly, and are also great groomers! All my requests were met, and my dogs look fab and are very happy. Thanks so much! read more

Terrible experience. The owner is nasty and did not care about whether she got repeat business from us. I asked for 1/2 an inch cut and my puppy came out with 1 inch hair. It was also unevenly cut. I mentioned that when I picked up my puppy and they convinced me it would be fine. 5 weeks later my puppy is weeks overdue for another hair cut and we are spending 45 mins a night brushing him. I shared this with the owner and asked for a discount on the next cut as we usually only come every 3 months and she chewed my head off. I was so surprised to have this experience as all of the groomers were so nice. I've lived in Boulder for 20 years and have a 1 year-old puppy. Why this woman decided it's good for business to be so mean after a poor haircut, I have no idea. I certainly will never recommend them again. I have no idea why they have such great reviews. read more

The name is SO fitting the first time we walked in the atmosphere was absolutely peaceful, there wasn't 15 dogs barking and locked in cages waiting to be dried or groomer or picked up, the grooming area was completely open and welcoming the staff was absolutely amazing. They did a perfect job on BOTH of my dogs and this is our new go to groomers ! read more

I went to this place when it was Green Wash -- I was a fan of the self-wash facilities then, and am just as happy with it under new ownership. My dog isn't a fan of getting bathed, but the DIY setup here made it as pleasant as possible. I brought my own shampoo, but was told that they had special shampoos for sensitive skin if needed. read more
