I cannot even describe the hell my dog suffered, not to mention the emotional and mental (let's not forget financial) anguish I experienced. First, he was given antibiotics that he wouldn't take. Multiple calls to the office met with "try this, try that"....i knew nothing would work; we tried applesauce, cream cheese, peanut butter, yogurt, sprinkling it on beef, chicken, and finally a compound that cost me $74. He spit that all over me! At one point my neighbors were trekking to the store for us!!! Finally, they offered a $65 injection that would last. Really??? You couldn't offer this sooner? His vet knew he had problems with pills, but, no! Upon his return home post-surgery, he cried for hours. No amount of pain meds was helping. I noticed his surgical "Lick sleeve" seemed exceptionally tight around his belly, so I loosened it and he immediately stopped crying and fell asleep!!! This thing was too small for him and cutting off circulation to his hind legs! When I called to get a more appropriate size, they wanted me to pay ANOTHER $79! Seriously? When I balked, they said to order one online or go to a pet store!!!!!!! I'm not kidding. I left it off of him until he went in for bandage removal. Now, get this, the vet he has seen since he was born kept calling him "she/her" until I told the vet that she had a penis! And you're a VETERINARIAN!!! Not wanting to put the ill-fitting sleeve back on him I left him go for the night. I own that. He went wild on his incision. I sent the pictures to the office and the VET TECH, not the veterinarian, said it was fine!!! Needless to say, I will not take my dog back there....EVER! He and I will never go back. I have sent neighbors and friends to this clinic over the years, but after this debacle I can't recommend it anymore. If you go there, pray you never need surgery. That woman should hang up her degree.

Dr. Hoover recommended surgery. Three o clock in the afternoon and patients coming in she did the emergency surgery!!!! What amazes me about this is she was only focused on my baby. Appointments ran at least an hour behind. I was in the waiting room and apologized profusely to the other clients. Not one complained. We all agreed that could have been anyone of them and their baby will receive the same quality care when they get back. Our appointment was at 4:20pm, but we arrived a bit early so we would have time to locate the place and figure out the necessary procedures. There was a note on the door instructing patients to call to check in for the appointment from their cars. I was informed that the receptionist would return my call and let me know when a vet tech had a vacant room available. I received a call at about 4:40pm. Everything was pretty quick after that! We entered the facility and were greeted by the staff. They asked me about any concerns I had and then the doctor came in. He was so amazing with our chunk. I truly have never had such a patient-centered veterinary experience. I felt that the cost was pretty affordable and definitely much less than the old practice that we frequented. They have our business for as long as we stay in this area!

He was acting what I thought was normal after the visit. He was tired and slept when I brought my cat home. The next day he was not walking or eating. I immediately took him to the closest animal hospital near by. I was told from there he was paralyzed! I called Winding hills where he was seen the day before they told me to bring him in so they could look at him. When I got there I was asked if my cat had got into any poisonous plants or ate a marijuan plant. I do not own any plants let alone smoke any kind of drug. That right there pissed me off! As I recall during my visit the vet tech looked like she was on drugs! She administered his vaccines on his left hind leg and then bam he wasn't walking the next day. After going through hoops and back and forth vet visits that I still had to pay out of pocket for a problem they caused! The vet never reached out at the end to ask me how he was doing or wanted to find the root of the cause. After feeling fed up with it all I took my cat to seek another opinion. Thankfully the problem has been resolved and he's back to being a now more playful kitten! I highly recommend anyone new to not take your pet to this veterinary clinic. They do not care about the well-being of your pet. It's all about the money! He was neutered here, no issue. In fact, about a month ago, I thought my senior was struggling to pee. Any cat owner knows that's a major, immediate issue and usually costly. I called her regular vet, who didn't have anything until the next day. No issue, they're not an emergency vet. I was prepared to take her to the local ER when I thought wait, let's call Silver Springs. They got me in just a few hours later!
