I've always gotten good care at the Nashville road walk in clinic. Tonight I arrived at a bit before 6 but wasn't actually seen till a little after 7 (closing time). The nurse practitioner (Mrs Steff) seemed impatient and informed me that it was to late to do a good evaluation. I explained my symptoms. She said it could be a UTI which seemed odd as I did not think I had any such symptoms (but I am not a medical person so I really don't know). When she came back to inform me no on the UTI I asked how much earlier I should have come in for a good evaluation. She explained that they don't have the ability to do any lab work other than urine but did not tell me how much early in the day I would need to come in for a good evaluation. I was then informed that it was my fault for knowing I had these symptoms and not seeking help earlier. So lessons learned: 1) When I'm guilty of waiting to seek medical treatment don't go to this facility. 2) They don't do lab work at this facility other than urine(?) and 3) The staff really don't want to be bothered near the end of their day ( or so it seemed to me). I do not feel like I received adequate evaluation being as it was so rushed, I'm wondering if it is ethical for the facility to bill to Medicare for such. I believe this facility should inform patients before taking them back about the limitations of their ability to evaluate. read more

I had a terrible experience. While the x-ray and nursing staff were very kind, the doctor was not. I had good care in the past, so I assumed I would have that again. I was SO WRONG. After suffering what I thought was a bad sprain, I was in so much pain that I went in for an x ray. I fractured my ankle bone! The doctor treated me like I was there for drugs and waved off my pain completely, even though my blood pressure was elevated. I asked for a local shot, and he said to take ibuprofen. I tried to discuss any options since I was in very serious pain, but he just said no. I understand that we must be careful with pain killers but a person with zero problematic history, with a broken bone, who has already white-knuckled it until she gave up and went for help, is cruel. That man cannot assess pain accurately. He has very poor judgement in my opinion. Now, I have to pay a new year's co-pay and wait until someone calls me from an orthopedist after the holiday on Monday to see anyone. Thanks for nothing. read more

I arrived with severe pain from a gout flare up and wasn't in the most pleasant mood. The staff were patient and listened. They had room for a Doctor to see me within 30 minutes or so. After a consultation with her and a blood test and x ray, I was astounded, even blinded by pain, how nice and helpful the people were at Graves Gilbert. I will return for further appointments confident I'm at the right place. read more

Please do not go here. During my visit, the nurse tested me for Covid, flu, and strep. She shoved the swabs so far up my nostrils that tears were streaming out of my eyes. She proceeded to do this 4 times and clearly didn't know what she was doing. Once I saw the APRN she told me to take over the counter medication and she could call me in a prescription for nasal spray. I pleaded with her for over 5 minutes to please write me a prescription as I have a 6 month at home and I have continually been sick, am running a fever, and need to get better. It is not cheap for me to visit the doctor, so I would not have wasted my time just to be told to take OTC medication. She told me my symptoms did not warrant a prescription and she would have to justify why she wrote that prescription and she couldn't do so. I was running a 101 fever while I sat there, had major congestion, and could barely hold my head up. Once I explained to her that I have been battling this all winter, she tried to accuse me of changing my symptoms and lying. She was just so cold and didn't seem like she cared to help me. They are the worst. Was seen for a UTI on a Saturday. On Thursday, the doctor calls and says the culture shows a different med is needed. I tell her I'm improved, so let's wait and see. She says fine, but call if you change your mind and I'll call you in something different. I realize my mIstake on Saturday, and call Monday (they are closed Sunday) to get the new Rx. Nobody calls me back. Two days go by. I call and get sent to VM. So finally I go back in person since I can't get anybody on the phone. They tell me I need another office visit because it's been longer than 10 days! Are you kidding me? I went to my own family doc at that point. I will never spend another dollar at that clinic. read more

Normally I'm satisfied with Graves Gilbert Clinic except for lately. I'll have to back track a little. So for way over a year been watching a spot in my left breast, even though they keep saying there's no change still keep having me do it which I was told the last 3 times that it would probably be my last since there hasn't been any change. Well guess what, still having me do it. I'm beginning to think it's for the money. So I go every 6 months. Of course I'm charged, my insurance doesn't pay for a lot of it being it's follow ups. So this last June I went for my annual which should be covered by insurance being it's preventative, but they apologized & said someone had tagged it wrong, even after talking to them 5 different times, said could not change it. So here I am paying for not only my follow ups, but now also my annuals which is NOT right. Just went a couple of weeks ago to do my follow up, they told me they lost my last left mammogram image from my annual mammogram, so want me to do both breasts again. First off why redo the right one if have that image, they said they needed to show they have done a bilateral. That's crazy to me. So I have to suffer once again through another mammogram for both sides even though have the image for the right side. Plus I know my insurance is going to say you just had your right breast done, we're not paying for it. Which she agreed with me that she could not promise they wouldn't charge me for it. So, I said absolutely not. So mean time they're supposed to be getting it sorted out for me to return this coming Friday. I should not have to pay one cent due to their mistake plus should be reimbursed for my last mammogram that was supposed to be considered my annual/preventive. I'm very upset over this & will be calling this before I go Friday to make sure it's been taking care of before I drive all the way to Bowling Green again cause I live 45 minutes away as it is. They were nice enough to give me a $15 gas card for my trouble, however $15 doesn't compare or compensate for a huge medical bill like I had to pay back in the summer for their mistake, now once again dealing with one of their mistakes. read more

Went to the clinic on Sunday, 12/17 for a severe sore throat, congestion, sinus drainage, ect. I have not slept for two days due to the extreme throat pain, I could not drink or eat. I eventually saw Tonya Simpson after the nurse took swabs for strep, flu, and covid. Waited over a hour for the results. They indicated I had covid, MS Simpson finally came in the room and went through the (don't go out for 5 days, ect), When asked what she was going to do about the extreme throat pain, she said just use over the counter product. I had already been doing this with no effect, she also would not prescribe any anti-viral, In general I wasted my time there. The next day I contacted by regular doctor and explained the situation, He determined I had a sinus infection(causing the throat pain) and had me start taking a Zpak, he also prescribed a Antiviral, within 48 hours I was much better, The bottom line is that I received , what I will call very poor medical treatment at the walk in clinic, especially from Tonya Simpson. read more

It is sad when those whose job it is to "care" for you are rude and behave as if you're bothering them. Will not return to the Walk In clinic ever again. The receptionists are rude. The caregiver we were given was worse and I was appalled by her cruel demeanor. Trust me when I say, if you can't get in to see your usual doctor, go to the ER or another town. It's not worth being treated like you've done something wrong because you got sick. read more

If I could give this place a lower rating, believe me, I would. I've recently had the misfortune of dealing with this place due to an injury. I was told that I would be contacted back for a follow up appointment because my condition required an ultrasound. Multiple days passed and I hadn't been contacted, so I took it upon myself to call them back. I was directed by the receptionist to leave a voicemail with the nurse's station and I would be called back. I was also informed that they check the messages multiple times daily. I left my message and what do you know? Days elapsed again. Keep in mind, the doctor I saw initially told me that due to my condition, I would need to abstain from my work until the ultrasound results showed exactly what the problem was. Finally, I was contacted by a very rude individual saying that there was a problem with my billing information. I told them, as I did upon the first visit, that I have nothing to do with the billing because it was a workers comp case, for which they already had the information they needed. I informed the lady on the phone of the issue I had with scheduling the ultrasound. She brashly told me that no appointment was needed for the ultrasound, that they just didn't conduct them on the weekends. She told me to just show up on Monday morning and they would get me in. Okay, not what I was originally told, but I thought to myself, "hey, mistakes happen!" If that were the only issue, I may not have left this nasty review, but as you will see, my tone is warranted. Monday morning comes around, over a week after my first appointment, still out of work. I show up at the walk-in care hoping to get the ultrasound and get further along my way to restoring my health. I'm sent back to the lab area, sit down in the waiting room and wait around for a while. I'm finally called up to the desk where I'm informed that whoever had contacted me had lied and that an appointment was absolutely necessary to have an ultrasound. I express my frustration nicely to receptionist, who apologized to me for the false information that I received. Unfortunately, this apology doesn't make up for the now way over a week that I have missed from work. They ended up having to schedule my appointment at the main Graves Gilbert campus across town later in the week. Eventually my ultrasound appointment comes, so I make my way over to park street. Go in, have the ultrasound, then I'm told I would be contacted in a few days with the results. They, unbelievably, contact me back this time and tell me that I must have surgery and that I would need to contact a surgeon at either Greenview or the medical center. So I call Greenview, Greenview tells me, almost laughingly, that's not how the process works and that I would need to get in contact with Graves Gilbert to set up the appointment. As you can guess, my anger at Graves Gilbert's incompetence is through the roof at this point. I call Graves Gilbert and was told to leave a message and that I would be contacted back. I decided to leave a few different messages with a couple different people at Graves Gilbert, and surprise! surprise! No one EVER contacted me back. They totally do not care about their patients, they only care about how their patients will pay for their visit. They do not want to help you and they did a very good job of proving that to me. I ended up bypassing Graves Gilbert for now and have managed to somehow get an appointment scheduled to meet with a surgeon for a serious surgery that I desperately need. I urge to please use any other health care provider in the area. I know for a fact I'm not the only one Graves Gilbert has displayed their complete incompetence and inability to serve the community to. If you are actually sick or injured, please go somewhere where you can actually get the help you need. Needless to say I will never step foot into a Graves Gilbert clinic as long as I can help it. I drove from Nashville to take my daughter to the clinic on a Sunday in September. She was given cough medicine. Kids DO NOT go to the doctor UNLESS they are SICK. a week later when she came home, she was SO SICK. We called your clinic, and they said, you will just have to come back in. She was already in Nashville at this time! Not an offer to call in antibiotics! YEAH, AT 258 DOLLARS A POP. I went to the walk in at KROGER. They had to give her a steroid shot and antibiotics. She has PNEUMONIA! NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR CLINIC! AT ALL. read more

Love this clinic! Have been several times for both myself and my son. Have never had to wait more than 20 mins to be called back to an exam room. Walked in on a very slow Sunday afternoon (my only free day due to the fact I was too sick to essentially move on Thursday/ Friday). I then tell the desk clerk I think I have an upper respiratory infection. Get sent to the corresponding location for testing this I am then taken into their room for a strep & flu test. I then wait for nearly 45 minutes to hear back about my tests (while I am one of two patients being looked at). Then the doctor in Steeler's shirt comes in and says "no flu, no strep. You're good to leave." Doesn't look for any signs of an URI just sends me on my way without a doctor's note for class because: "If I actually felt bad I should have come in sooner." I'm very annoyed for wasting my time and copay money to some doctor who provided me no help or understanding whatsoever. Would have liked for my physician to take my health more seriously than getting out of work to watch the Super Bowl. Wish I could give 0 Stars. read more

Dr Grace and the medical staff are great. The administration staff are idiots. We'll, at least one of them. I waited 2.5 hours because she failed to even check me in.
