I needed someone who could handle the legal stuff AND help me hold it together through one of the worst chapters of my life. That's exactly what Leah and her staff did. Leah is tough when she needs to be, no question. But she's fair. And she always, always puts the kids first. I watched through opposing counsel how some attorneys just pour gasoline on the fire to run up their billing, and honestly, it's disgusting to see. Leah is nothing like that. She's also a registered Guardian ad Litem, so she actually understands how kids' voices get represented in these cases, not just in theory, in practice. Vicky handled my financial affidavit and didn't miss a thing. Finances are already stressful without adding a divorce on top, so having someone who knows that side of it was a relief. And you want a firm that has people that specialize in these target areas versus having your attorney manage it all at their bill rate.
