Greeley represented us. After several attempts on our end for updates and answers that were never provided. We were not made aware of court dates and when finally updated, we were told it is now closed. Due to the major lack of communication, we no longer have the opportunity to get justice for our family. Although it is not about the money, they received a large lump sum and did the bare minimum. Our case was not handled diligently as you would expect, which resulted in more frustration and hurt for us. We trusted Greeley with a case that was very dear to us, as I am sure many others do. I'm will never do business again with this firm. Took almost a week for him to get in touch, had a miss call than voicemail. No answer. The person I was doing business with he goes by the name "Eric c. Hendricks" first I spoke to him over the phone just felt like he was rushing the call when I was asking questions, than he asked me who are you going through, I said my employer, he said ok. So all in all never got back to about exactly how much I was going to pay, or even why I'm going to pay for something I didn't do, or at least figure out why are they even accusing me. Peggy Gerkin was my court appointed mediator assigned to my case last year. I give her 1 star because despite the horrible mediating she did, she was accommodating to me bringing my newborn to the office. The mediation agreement says that I was supposed to get a one on one with her, my sons biological father was supposed to get a one on one with her then we would all meet together. Possibly a few times until we made progress. This was not the case at all. My sons biological father and his attorney communicated with Peggy Gerkin at the court house the day she was assigned to our case and painted a false picture of the situation. So when we met (which the first time was all of us together, I never got my one on one) she immediately started with when can he see his son. They both hounded/bullied me to let him follow me home so he can have a visit that day! Never once did she ask me what my side of the story was. How the situation was, if it was safe to... Nothing. Never once did she try to mediate. She went in biased to the situation because she allowed herself to hear and believe the story she was told at the courthouse which was not true. I left that 1.5 hour meeting HYSTERICAL. The next meeting was less then an hour and all she did was create a visitation schedule. I just sat quietly and let them draw up what they wanted to so I didn't leave the way I left last time. Peggy's mediation skills are horrible and she should not be allowed to be involved in the situations families are going through if she can not go in with an unbiased attitude. And if she's not going to give the families the time they are paying for then she shouldn't be offering her services. I still got billed my almost $400 for services I never received. For help she did not even attempt to do. If you get assigned Peggy Gerkin for your mediator you should request someone different. read more
