Men's Day, Usher's Day, Children's Day, Deacon's Day, Pastor's Day, Fund-raising Days, etc. This is not meant to be harsh and I am trying to be very careful with my words as it relates to God's houses of Worship. We are not into celebrating "Days" . Our preference is simplicity... worship and grow with all emphasis, glory and honor to HIM. I grew up Baptist all my life but have been Non-Denominational for many years now. Everyone is different as are our worship styles. This appears to be a thriving church and may appeal to many. My grandson was horribly abused/bullied on a youth outing to Fla. The Preacher will not even come…read moresee my grandson. The youth minister has nothing to say. My grandson was almost castrated from a wedgey and had to see a psychiatrist when he came home. He was hit in the chest with cases of soda pop. Where were the chaperones? He is a high functioning child with cerebral palsy & Asperger. Did the chaperones follow instructions for his meds? No, he dosed himself, and slept 2 days in Panama City 16'. He didn't want to go, but felt obligated. I have prayed & prayed for these people at this church. It's all left all left a bad taste in the mouth of one of God's children about church. He just wanted to be accepted and belong.
