My husband, Ryan Talbott, and I hired Joseth Gordon, who claims to be a mobile mechanic with 17 years of experience and a reputation for getting it right the first time. However, our experience has been disappointing. We required ball joint replacements, and he quoted us $150, which we agreed to. He began working on the car, disassembling the driver-side tire completely. Ryan, who is not a mechanic but has watched a few YouTube videos, observed that Joseth's methods differed significantly from those shown in the videos. Nevertheless, Joseth reassured Ryan that his approach was the easiest way. After almost 8.5 hours, Joseth informed us that he would need to take the upper control arm to complete the job and would return the following morning. We agreed, as we had not yet paid him and he seemed trustworthy. However, it is now Friday, 12:45 pm, and we have received no word from Joseth, despite our messages being met with silence. Unfortunately, this has coincided with our Fourth of July plans, and our car remains on the street, on a jack stand, and in pieces. So I came to the conclusion that he was most likely working on the car for 8.5 hours just so he could get that piece for his own benefit and he had no idea what he was doing otherwise I've looked high and low to find out weather this guy is licensed or not in order to file a claim with BAR but was unable to find a license for him now we are left with a car that isn't drivable by any means not to mention the car parts that we just bought that he refuses to return. anyways do yourself a favor and avoid this guy and his "business" completely the last picture is just reference to what is missing after he disassembled the car and took the parts that we bought, also feel free to share the post.
