The guy on the phone assured me it would be done in "two days!" and was really easy. He then put down the phone without telling me the email address, so I had to call him back and get it (their website doesn't work so no way to know it). Got an even more off-feeling as he kept repeating incorrect dimensions that I'd corrected him on, and how on google street view the shop looks totally dilapidated etc. But whatever, support local small businesses right? Well...after emailing precise instructions over, and not hearing anything back a couple of days later I called asking for the project status, and he asked me if I'd emailed him. I said yes, and he said well his designer "wasn't in the office yet". Uh...ok. Didn't hear anything back again, and waited and waited. Eventually called back a couple of days later and he said the designer's kid was "sick" and then rudely said that he would pull the project and put down the phone. Sorry to hear that (if true) but a simple notification rather than ghosting and making endless excuses would suffice. I won't be giving this place any further business.
