When it was time to wash out the color, she yelled from the other side of the salon that she was ready for me. I should have left then - but I didn't and she butchered my hair so badly that I tear up every time I look in the mirror. Cut off about 4 inches when I said I just wanted 2 inches, and cut uneven layers in my very thin hair. The root touch up looks like someone dumped brown paint on the top of my head - not blended in, color is too dark. Unless you get a personal recommendation for a particular stylist, I'd be wary. Now I have to try to find someplace else where I can go to get it fixed.

******BUYER BEWARE***** I went into Taylor Made Beauty on…read moreThursday July 8,2021 at approximately noon to purchase a single 16 inch virgin, unprocessed transparent closure. I was kindly greeted by the owner and I advised her of what I needed. We walked to the back of the store as this is where they keep the "virgin hair" and was presented with a small selection of closure options. I opted for the transparent 16 inch as I knew I planned to use it for a quick weave. After my purchase I had an appointment scheduled for the following day with my beautician and she bleached my knots as is commonly done and placed bleach on a small portion of the closure using a 20 volume developer by Paul Mitchell on the hair. My beautician let the product lift to about a 27 and quickly removed the bleach using Design Essential Rosemary and Mint Conditioner. The hair was then dried for 20 minutes under a dryer and then removed AND THAT IS WHEN it all went downhill . The hair as evidenced began to shed, the knots barely bleached but the hair was coming out to the point that it was unbelievable. I immediately contacted the store and spoke with an employee. I verified that they did for a fact sell VIRGIN UNPROCESSED HAIR in the back of the store and she confirmed that I did get my closure from the back. I confirmed that my closure came from the back and she placed me on hold and got I assume the owner. I explained in detail what occurred with the hair and my beautician advised as well of the process she took. I sent her videos and she said she would contact me back. She contacted me and advised that she contacted a beautician who advised her that the hair was over processed but how so if the knots barely lifted as evidenced in the photos. She advised that we should wash the hair with conditioner and place it under the dryer for 20 minutes. I told her we tried all of those things before contacting her. At this time I simply asked her to allow me to trade in the closure and get another. She said well then the same thing would happen. She then advised that she would call me back. When she called back she called to advise me that she would not be able to exchange the closure. My issue with that is if you can see that clearly the hair was bad, not over processed and all these things why can't you exchange it. I offered to bring the hair back so she could show her beautician but she declined. I simply want to warn everyone that if you purchase any hair from this business you stand the chance of receiving low quality, processed "virgin hair" masquerading as Brazilian Hair. I would definitely not recommend this place.

She is so unjudgmental when I told her I've previously cut my own hair and have been coloring it myself for years.
