We had a blast getting ready and they made us look beautiful! I absolutely loved my updo and makeup! Each of us had something different done and they were so good about doing each unique thing we asked for. From makeups to blowouts and updos, they did everything perfectly!! I chose Swank because it's a faith-based business, and I loved that their website shared not only their values but also the stylists' bios and photos. Everyone looked like they genuinely enjoyed working together, which gave me confidence. I booked with Avery, and I couldn't have made a better choice! I hadn't had a haircut since Covid, so my hair was long, fine, thin, and very straggly. Avery greeted me warmly and helped me get settled (I'm currently in a wheelchair, and the salon was very easy to access and navigate). She listened carefully as I explained my concerns about my hair being thin and falling out despite supplements and oils. She shared her own experience with hair loss after Covid and recommended a product that helped her. Seeing her gorgeous, healthy hair gave me hope! We also discussed shampoos for frizz and fullness, and she suggested one she personally uses. She cut my hair and it was absolutely FANTASTIC. My hair feels lighter, fuller and looks great. I couldn't be more pleased. On top of that, I learned she also does wedding hair and makeup--which is perfect, since she'll now be doing mine next year! The atmosphere at the salon was welcoming--Courtney even chatted with me when I arrived and while I checked out, which was a sweet touch. Even though it was later in the day, I felt like I got the full experience. Highly recommend Swank Hair Studio to anyone new in town or looking for a fresh, friendly, faith-filled salon experience!
