I wholeheartedly know I found it. Rylee was wonderful. She made my daughter feel comfortable and went over everything she was doing and made sure that she was OK with it and was so patient with her. She explained in great detail how to do the style at home and gave loads of tips and tricks to keep her style looking exactly the way it was supposed to be. She was gracious, and gave us a tour of their upcoming expansion, which will include nail artist, aestheticians and massage therapist. Grand Rapids is so lucky to have a salon like this, the entire place exudes joy, and acceptance! On top of all that to have the level of professionals doing mind blowing artistry is just an added bonus. All of the stylists book their appointments independently and have their booking information listed on the website. Many of them also have their own Instagram pages so you can see their work. I found it especially helpful that they have descriptions of their strengths, as well as things they don't necessarily enjoy doing. Super helpful! Being downtown parking can be tricky. Just allow yourself enough time to find a space and pay attention if you book an appointment during the times, the meters are charging. I wish a place like this had been around when I was my daughter's age. I love love love that there is a place where you can go and just be.
