They have their numbers on the sign outside but no one ever responds to a phone call or text. I only come to Colorado during the winter time for work. The first year i was in montrose. Next two year i have been stationed in Hayden. Being that no one in that area could cut my grade of hair i stuck to who i knew.. So i drive 3 1/2 hours from Hayden to montrose to get a haircut cut. Which the barbers know the distance i drive to get a cut by them. So this year i set an appointment to get a cut . After arriving i contacted Mario to see if he could take me a little earlier because there was other things i wanted to do in town. Was willing to pay more. He said he did not have anything available. I said ok and left it at that. The next day i get an email at 830 saying that my appointment was canceled. I called him and of course, no response. So i drone to the barber shop and both Miguel and Mario was there with no clients. So i proceeded to ask yo why you cancel my appointment. He said think you was going to make it being that you asked for a different time. I said no bro you need to communicate, so i asked being that he didn't have anyone could i get a cut at that Moment . He said sure. Still tipped him 5 as i always do. A week from than, i book another appointment two week before the appointment. Sent me a confirmation email and i accepted . I got probably 7 reminder texts and emails to remind me that i had an appointment on the 17th. Including, the day of the appointment about a hour and a half before the appointment. I go to eat and go to the barbershop at 830. I waited until 9 and he did not show up. At that point i texted him and no response. I called, it rung 3 times and he declined the call. I waited and called again it rung one time and went to vm multiple times. I hit him up on Instagram, he looked at the message and totally ignored it. I sent another text saying if you are not going to come you could at least let me know do i won't be waiting around. By 930 i left and went to the store and came back, by that time Miguel was there and i asked him where was Mario because i had a 9am appointment. He said you did? And you drove about 3 hours . I said yup just for this cut. He said Lee me call him. I ran the story down to him what happened. Client stated that this is not the first time him doing this. Many people complain about him setting appointments and not showing up to them. Miguel said he was booked up and referred me to his cousin down the street. Sent me his info on Instagram. But he was booked as well. I left and as i was passing by at 8 pm i see Mario in the barbershop. I swooped in that parking lot so fast. I go in to ask him what happened to my appointment at 9 this morning. He said he didn't see an appointment. I said bro i received multiple texts and email reminders including right before the appointment. He said how long you in town, i said i leave tomorrow. He could you come tomorrow i said i leave early so 8 am. He said yeah than goes on to say wait let me check. He looks in his phone and say oh i can't at that time. And acts like looking at the rest of the day and say he can't for the whole day. So i said how about when you finish this customer. He said naw i have things to do. He continued to say can you get the cut when you come back. I said come back. I'm 3 hours away. And he said again could wait till you come back. So you telling me i rented a car , got a hotel room 3 1/2 hours away for nothing and you wanted me to come back and you did nothing to accommodate means for inconveniencing me. Bro must be on drugs. I said bro don't even worry about it. And walked out the door. Never go to Mario to get a cut. Very unprofessional and do not communicate. I was in rage the entire time i was there and drive back to my location of duty

She did not listen or do to what I wanted for my haircut. It looks awful - very choppy and she cut 5" off the front. I told her I wanted a trim but she did not do that. She yabbered non-stop for 2 hours then turned around and charged me $375! She wanted Venmo which you can't dispute and she wouldn't leave until I paid her the $375. I wanted her out of my house so I paid her. The next day after being so upset I asked for a Venmo refund for $100 because I was so unhappy, but she won't return phone calls or texts. I'm writing this because I feel she truly deserves this review and it is very honest…read more I have had difficulty my entire life with my hair and finding a stylist that is patient enough to truly listen, tries to evaluate your hair as you would an intricate piece of art, is brutally honest on what your hair can handle, and has your hair-health as a number one priority (will not burn it off or dry it at any cost)....not just making money off of extra services. She has told me "No" many times. She's also incredibly FAST, which I'm assuming, is from her 10+ years of experience (all I know is she started working in a salon as a teen haha). Putting foils on my head insanely quick is important when you have a toddler at home. I am also glad she has a private space, as it allows private woman-to-woman therapy, ugh, I mean... conversation. And she focuses essential OILS! She's pleasant and she's incredibly skilled with color. My hair has never been longer, healthier, or BLONDER. Not since I was a kid! She gives an incredible haircut, and has NEVER cut off too much. Always just the right making to keep it long and healthy. She also uses Olaplex, which is a big deal if you process your hair.
