Good was great! Got the chicken yeero and a side of chips, both were so yummy and the chilly sauce was so good (got on the side)

Portions are tremendous and reasonable for the gyro. Best Greek food I've ever had. The beer is also great. I highly recommend this spot.

The portions are enormous and affordable. Had a large lamb gyro and it was fantastic, the lamb extremely flavorful. Great place for lunch.

Couldn't recommend it more. Chicken Mezze plate was very good, tender and juicy but not under cooked, good variance in type of chicken as well. Falafel could have been the best I have ever had. Can always tell the quality of it by the dryness and chick pea to herb ratio. Fantastic. Garlic potatoes - very good with peppers. Cold Mezze- excellent but would have wanted more tabouleh if possible but you can't have everything. Hummus Babaganoush and Labneh all top draw. With a good glass of red the whole thing came to less than 80 pounds. Unreal. Service was ace not a thing to complain about. What a place. Price 5/5 Service 5/5 (if you are looking for a reservation and online says it's booked, just call and they will sort you out) Food 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Can't miss with this one.

The service was okay except for our server lady, she seemed a bit rude. The other severs were all pretty good. The atmosphere is very very pretty. Especially inside! We sat outside because it was a perfect late September afternoon to enjoy the decent weather. And listen to the side shows going on around the courtyard across the way.

Maybe my friend over-sold it and got my expectations up too high, because I was pretty disappointed in this dinner. We were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We said still and were brought out a £4.50 bottle. I know it's common to charge for water in Europe, so I didn't think much about it until I noticed that everyone else around us had refillable glass bottles -- free tap water that we were never even told was an option. We were seated downstairs at a large communal table. I don't necessarily mind that, but it was so loud that having a conversation was very difficult. My cocktail was delicious, but so tiny. The wine list was decent -- a good mix of options at various price points. As for the food, it was very hit or miss. The mushroom starter and the pork main dish were delicious. Unfortunately, the two most expensive dishes were disappointing. The prawns had great flavor, but a strangely soft, mushy texture. For me, the flavor made the weird texture okay, but my husband couldn't get over the mushiness of the shrimp and hated this dish. The sea bream was very bland and dry -- highly disappointing for the most expensive item on the menu. We ended on a high note with the affogato dessert (Yum!), but for such an expensive meal, there were just a few too many misses for us.

JIMMYS ROCKS!!!!…read more Jimmys restaurant in SOHO is the coolest traditional greek restaurant I have ever been to and will ever visit I believe. At Jimmys, Live music is played by an older greek man. If I had the power, I would give this man the nobel prize of drinking alcohol. He started singing and playing music around 8 pm. As he was singing, the waitress kept on giving him bottle after bottle of greek vodka, Ouzo. As time passed the man was getting more and more drunk, after about 3 bottles he was truely and utterly DRUNK. Between his songs he took 2-3 minutes to share his views of the world, these views did not make any sence. However, when this man played his music, he was singin on the top of his lungs and it actually sounded really nice. Everyone got up and started dancing greek. I did not know what I was doing however whenever I turned around there was a greek person in my face screaming " OPAAA, VERYYY GOOD". The atmosphere was AMAZINGLY WODERFUL. People were friendly and very openminded. I felt truely wanted when I was there, there was no greeks only-mentality. For 16 complete meals and 7 big bottles of vodka including drinks we payed £500. I know that I could pay much more than that considering the experience that was given to me. I truely loved Jimmys Restaurant and it is a fact that I am going back soooon again. Pros's: Amaxing atmosphere, live traditional music, good food, good prices, greek style decorations, BEST GREEK RESTAURANT IN LONDON, down to earth feeling! Con's: Small, poor air conditioning

During the meal the waiter spilt olive oil down my back, he didn't apologise and tried to pretend it hadn't happened. Once the meal was finished seven of us went for food, the other three felt such an overwhelming feeling of nausea that they were unable to contemplate food!
