Lol The only thing that pissed me off is that before I started coming here I provided my insurance information see how much my therapy would be costing me. They told me that my insurance went through and I would pay $30 per visit. Excellent. So I started going for the next 2 months. Then I got a call from the receptionist saying that there was a mix up with my insurance number and that I actually have to pay a deductible of $90 per visit. And that I would be receiving a bill for the difference for the past 2 months! This has caused quite a problem for me and has substantially delayed my recovery. I'm not sure whose fault it is, it just really sucks.

I had been going to Baylor and was really unhappy with the quality of treatment, but Carolyn completely changed my views on physical therapy. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and she has helped me tremendously in my recovery. Furthermore, the clinic is a fun place to be and everyone there has a great sense of humor. The banter alone makes me look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Physical Therapy of Plano. Oh, one more thing. She keeps all my small nagging pains at bay and allowing me to train at my fullest! Please note- she is not your typical Chiropractor. She does ART (Active Release Technique), which means she digs into trigger points to help release adhesions in the muscles. It is painful, but totally worth it!

I loved our conversations together and my neck has never felt better. My quality of life has definitely improved from where I was before to after our appointments together. For context, I used to wake up with neck pain every morning, to the point where going to bed was often painful even with the thinnest of pillows -- I often had to fall asleep on ice packs to get through the pain. I also had/have chronic migraines and was in a car accident prior to meeting Dr. Ali, so my neck and back were in rough shape. I also have been an athlete since I was 5, so I'm sure that didn't make it easy on her either! She was able to immediately diagnose some of the issues I had from built up wear and tear and start me on a program for recovery. She also made the whole process so easy with the insurance from the person who hit me. She took care of it all and I only had to worry about showing up to our appointments. I never had to worry about prices and sending forms back and forth with the insurance. Not having that additional stress with fighting insurance alone was super helpful. My quality of life has definitely improved after having Dr. Ali both as a physical therapist and a chiropractor -- it's not often we find someone capable of doing both in one appointment! She also would cater the care to my body's needs and how I was feeling. There were times where my neck was too sensitive for the typical chiropracty, but she had tools that made the process so much better -- decreasing my pain levels without adding to it. The tools she had were definitely a game changer. She would also change the procedures to fit my improvements or alter them for my needs at the time. I came in after going on a walk/hike started hurting my hips, and she was able to adjust them as well to relieve that pain too. She and I had great conversations where she would check in on me and remember things going on in my life and see how she could improve my conditions. She made me feel like I had her not only as a doctor, but also as a concerned friend. I really felt like she was doing her best to take care of me in every way. She isn't just going thru the motions of doing a job, she wants to see you improve. She's gentle when needed and will challenge you when needed. Frank was able to find deficiencies in movement I wasn't aware of. We worked the issues with manipulation, strength and flexability training with all the best equipment in the office. Frank appears to be a little OCD about cleanliness and I appreciate this quirk. At the end of each session we finished with a massage and the feel good machine. I was able to avoid surgery because of the work we did. Frank gave me the best advice to purchase splints to wear at night. The splints keep me from sleeping with my hands and wrists in unhealthy positions. It has changed my life by raising my sleep score by 30pts daily. My advice is, at the least, try whatever Frank tells you to do. It will benefit you immensely.

The facility smells clean and is well-maintained because of those standards. The clean environment is a HUGE PLUS! The therapy itself has also been gold. PT Amy gave me clear, concise printed directions with pictures of prescribed exercises. She is professional, patient, thorough and sweet; I trust her . Her demeanor makes me automatically more comfortable. I had PT Miles last week and found him to be attentive and good at explaining each step. This second round of OT was necessary because I had digit widgets on the three impacted fingers and my OT did another incredible and phenomenal job of restoring the range of motion and activity in my hand. As I told her, I cannot think of anything I can't do because of the Dupuytrens, which is a place I thought I would never get to. Awesome work, all the way around.
