I love Greater Waco, my kids love it as well!!! For a few different reasons. First, we have seen many teachers come and go and not all of them were wonderful. Some of the teachers really didn't belong around kids. But, that does not negate the fact that Greater Waco has some of the best teachers in the world. For every good teacher there is bound to be a terrible one, but the center admin staff has always rectified the issue. When ever I have had concerns they have always been dealt with Second, I have a child in the K-4 class who adores Ms. Michelle. She is the most wonderful teacher in the entire school!! I have a 2-year old in the toddler class. Although we have seen some of our favorite toddler teachers leave he has grown fond of Ms. Annette. Even though Catherine will always be mommy's favorite. :) My youngest is in the infant room, and after leaving Ms. Arleen in the newborn room, her teacher Ms. Sarah is perfect at caring for my daughter. Babies are hard work, you don't always know why they are upset but Ms. Sarah does wonderfully!!! Third, and last, everyone has their own opinions and parenting styles. But, I can walk into the school whenever I want and just peek in on any of my kids. If I cannot personally go in I have always been able to call and speak with the teachers. I'm not saying the last three and a half years have gone without a hitch but I can say that I would not trust my babies with anyone else. My two year old was found multiple times with poop in her pants (she's potty trained) We found her wondering the hall by herself during a pick up During another pick up I found her crying on the play ground outside because she was cold (it was 50-60 degrees) and they wouldn't take her inside to put her jacket on Her comfort lovey was taken from her multiple times She was picked up with someone else's DIAPER on. Again she's potty trained. When any of this was brought up they said they'd look into it and nothing was done. Disgusting, Negligent, Inconsiderate, Manipulative These are the words I would use to describe the director DR. AMANDA and her "EARLY EDUCATION CENTER". This education center was horrible!! They do not pay attention to the children, they send them home disgusting with rashes, bruises, scratches, bite marks and no explanation 90% of the time!!! Every time I've ever confronted the director AMANDA about situations she would try and flip the script on me and try and make me feel crazy when in fact they were negligent in caring for my child!! Every day I would drop off and pick my child up in a gym filled with children of all ages screaming and crying and confused without any adult supervision. The supposed teachers would be on their personal phones sitting in the back corner while the children just ran around...some no shoes, missing clothing, screaming because they were hurt, and they never even budged. I could walk in and grab my child and walk out and no one would stop me or even know I took her. BE CAREFUL because they will also lose all your child's belongings "SHOES". THIS IS NOT A PLACE YOU WANT YOUR CHILD!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF SAID CHILD HAS A FOOD ALLERGY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT ADHERE TO DIETARY RESTRICTIONS... My child was also kicked out because they had a licensing investigation on them for being negligent in caring for the children. My children have attended here since 2018. Nearly every teacher they have had has been superb! One teacher was hired after my daughter had started. My daughter had spent every morning crying (it was a hard transition to start child care as she was a one year old). This new teacher though loved on my girl and taught her to love school. She has had fantastic teachers ever since. My son is older now, but spent a couple years there and had a great educational foundation for elementary school. The administrative staff is dedicated to their jobs, they do their best to train young teachers, and they are there for the parents. We love GWEEC! read more

We love Greater Waco. The kids love it as well. They have some of the best staff members who are very helpful and attentive.

My kids have been going here since my oldest was nine. When she did go to kindergarten, she was way ahead of the others because of the amazing learning curriculum the daycare has to offer. The staff are very professional when it comes to addressing any concerns! We would highly recommend this place! read more

My daughter's been in this daycare since she was 3 months old and she is turning 5 this year... she's loved all of her teachers. She even surprises me by randomly singing Christian songs shes learned there at the top of her lungs in the middle of the store. read more

My 11 month old never adjusted after 2 months. The teachers did not help with dropping off by offering to take her. They had nothing for the baby's to pull up on or travel around, the toys did not work and some was dirty, the bouncer set had holes in them. She would come home with dirty socks from the dirty floor, one day they was wet and looked like She stepped in mud (still on) teacher replied she was sorry she dropped water on the floor ? Almost every day I was told she cried all day. few times I seen teachers on the floor with the baby's. Couple of times I picked her up with a full dipar, they stated she just woke up but sheet said it was up for over 20 mins ago she woke up. (The teacher was working on the bulletin board) never seen or was introduced to the director of the day care. I was asked what time will I be picking up my child and one time the teacher was making fun of a mom for dropping off her child because she had to get her hair done. I dont think they was using the water I brought because I had to ask if she has ran out after me bring more formula. And they replied they use facet water. The bottles was not stored with lides on them or in a clean area (it was rubbing the bottom of the shelf ). The teachers was telling the baby's no without any redirection. Several always had snotty noses that was not wiped. As someone that has worked in a day care I know this is 101 and I never complained hoping it would get better but thank goodness found a closer day care. This day care that can have 420 children might be better for older Childen. I was never at peace about my child being there. read more
