Really great place to get Greek food in Milan! Located in the heart of Navigli, amongst a number of cafes and eateries alongside the main canal. You order at the register before you get your meal which is nice, because we all know waiting for the bill in Italy is timeless torture! I love veggie platters and a freshly made basket of falafel, but this time I decided to try a new-to-me dish, Feta Saganaki (pan-fried feta cheese drizzled with honey!) Oh, was it delicious! It was the first time I heard of this dish and hope I can try it again at a Greek restaurant in the future. It came with a nicely dressed side salad as well. My friend orders tzaziki for the table and thankfully it came with oiled pita bread triangle to help with dipping. I would go here again and again whenever I get bored of pizza and pasta. Opa! If you can't get to Greece because you're stuck at the Navigli in Milano. No problem! This is one of the best Greek places I've gone too. They have all types of Greek dishes, platters, feta, yogurt, baklava, you name it! If you're looking to eat chicken, meat or want to be "light" or are vegetarian, this is the place to go to. The best part is you can add any extra ingredient (such as kalamata olives) for only €0.20! If you're a feta lover (like me!) it's only €0.50 more. The prices are very reasonable and the flavors explode in your mouth. Everything is made fresh to order. When you arrive (this place is always packed) you can sit indoors or outdoors. Once you have your table and choose from the menu, you get up and order at the register. The best part is after this, you just go sit back down, sip on a Greek beer, and wait for your food to be served to you. We had a great time, and will be definitely going back again! Nice Greek menu options with real vertical spits. No lamb ( that I could tell) but chicken, beef and pork Taziki was fresh and good We got the platter and skipped the fries but got extra taziki. Walked by this place as all of the apertivo places were winding down. I got the mixed gyro, with both meats. HANDS DOWN BEST GYRO I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE. I've had a lot of Halal food/ greek gyros and NYC and compared to those, this place stands out in every aspect. Because of the way gyros are prepared, the meats are usually very dry, but the meat here was juicy and not greasy at all. The pita was fresh and served warm. There's a bounce to the pita when you bite into it, and when combined with the crunch of the fresh veggies, it makes for an AWESOME sandwich. Solid 5/5 as good as it gets. I could not believe how bland the food was here. My husband and I misjudged it by the amount of patrons outside and inside. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It was crowded, but they managed to find us a table quickly. We ordered their version of baba ganoush with pita bread (€3.50), two bottled beers (€3.50 each - yikes!) and two pork gyros (around €6.50 each - not bad prices). Despite the good atmosphere, their food was pretty much the most disappointing Greek food I've ever had ... in the history of my life. It wasn't terrible, just very bland. The tzatziki had no flavor (my husband thought his actually tasted sweet). There was no paprika or any indication of any other spices in the gyros. I didn't even finish mine. The baba ganoush was okay, but not to the level of taste like other baba ganoush I've had in different Greek restaurants around the world. italy's cheese is just such better quality: you wouldn't get this good of a feta cheese feeling and taste in your mouth in a pita wrap in america. lowkey greek fast food if you're craving any that's cheap. also amazing baklava: they add pistachio and greek yogurt to balance out the texture and sweetness of the baklava. read more
