My mother called me a few hours ago alarmed. She advised me that someone from Green Carpet Lawn company, who was claiming to be the owner, arrived unannounced to my home/private property. The person was digging in my lawn. Apparently, the person was also taking pictures of my lawn. My elderly mother opened the door (the guy did NOT ring/knock on the door) to question the guy. The guy claimed to be the owner of green Carpet lawn company and asked my mother if she wrote a yelp review about the company(smh-- the owner read my yelp review, received the complaints that I made to his office manager and has yet to call me)! The supposed owner asked my mother to come outside so that he could show her what was causing the "problem". The supposed owner advised my mother that I have "grubs." This company continues to amaze me! The supposed owner nor anyone else at this company NEVER called me to re-inspect my lawn after the technician who claimed all of my grass was dead completed his inspection on Tuesday April 30th. By the way the technician did not find anything wrong with the grass on April 30th after he reinspected it. What really to amazes me is that the supposed owner did not call me, knock on my door to ask if he could inspect my lawn nor did he intend to speak to anyone in my home about it(he thought nobody was home because some of our cars were in the garage). Apparently, TRESPASSING is ok! What makes matters worse is after briefly reviewing my surveillance cameras I saw the supposed owner taking pictures of my lawn without my, my husband or my mother's consent(he took the pictures when my mother went in the house to put on her shoes after questioning him.. when he saw my mother coming back to the door he immediately put his phone in his pocket). PLEASE stay off of my property "Green Carpet Lawn Care!" Enough damage has been done!! TRESPASSING and ILLEGALLY taking pictures of my property is not OK! I nor my husband never gave consent to anyone at your company to set foot on my property today nor have we ever spoken to you (the supposed owner) nor have we ever met you! If I see pictures of my lawn/my home used anywhere or shared with anyone, I and my husband will take legal action! read more

I am very surprised to see the poor reviews for this company. After several years with a national lawn care service, I switched to Green Carpet Lawn Care. They have been servicing my lawn for the past 3 years, The results have been unbelievable! The bare and thin spots have filled in, and the lawn is noticeably fuller and greener. Over the past several years TruGreen became worse and worse. They arrived to do the treatment, hopped on their machines and sped through our yard at lightening speed. Who knew if the treatment ever landed where it was intended. Despite paying for grub control, we had more and more moles in our yard each year. They would come, look, shake theirs heads, offer another even more expensive treatment and then tell me it probably wouldn't work. Last year was THE WORST. When it came to grub control, I think they missed most of our front lawn. As our lawn dried out (despite a rainy summer and a sprinkler system), the grass dried and the weeds took over, they had nothing to offer - and that was after several calls to even get them to our yard. The worst lawn care company ever lied to me and said they did my whole lawn went home after they put fertilizer down and could see the tire tracks never went behind my pool. Charged me for the whole yard, weed fest behind my pool and didn't do a thing to repair my lawn. Just saw my neighbors yard half is dead same great company did his also. read more

The office and technicians always communicates with us before every application. Their machinery is state of the art. Their aeration really means what it is supposed to look like ...I think people who have complaints is because they don't water or cut their lawn properly. I've been using services for 14 years started with them, switched with 2 other companies who ruined my lawn and came right back to green carpet to save the day... read more

We had been using them for 7-8 years. The first route driver we had was outstanding and the lawn improved(had the nicest lawn in the neighborhood). A couple years back, they changed the route guys and the service went down hill. Last year was the last straw... I had more weeds than grass and I would call to have them come back to take care of the crabgrass (amongst other broadleaf weeds) and don't believe it was ever done. If it was, they only got a few of them. It was as though they changed something in their formulation. Of course I don't know, but something seemed to change. I am moving on. I like to do business with local companies ... maybe they got too big. read more

They know how to bill but the service and follow up is lousy. The office rarely communicates with the tech's, techs act like they know-it-all, owners dont stand behind their service but other than that, they're great!! read more

Not recommended! They damaged my lawn with the motorized application system. I called the home office for a service request. They will not respond. However They did call requesting payment for services rendered. I am dissatisfied with the service. I feel like I am not a valued customer! read more

Poor Quality Control, and even worse customer service! We've used Green Carpet's services for the last three consecutive years. Although they have NEVER been exceptional, the service was adequate until this year. Our annual expenditure for the lawn care service with Green Carpet is $1,450. We find ourselves constantly calling between service applications to explain the yard is progressively besieged with weeds. Time after time, we begrudgingly pay the bill. Today, 10/19/21 Chris called to set up the fall application. I explained I was very unhappy, did not want the yearend service, nor did I want to pay the latest invoice. Rather, I requested a manager return my call. We did receive a return call from Cathy. I explained their service was not even meeting "reasonable" expectations. Furthermore, the lawn has ever increasing sections being overtaken by weeds. She went on to explain the "weather" was to blame. It's what we hear every time we call. "It's too hot, it's too cold, there's too much rain, etc." They never take any ownership for their poor work product. As a small business owner myself, I would have started the conversation by saying "I'm sorry-let's work together towards a solution". "How can we improve our service and make this right?" Instead, we were told we should move forward the the fall service and, our account was four days in arears. Now that's exceptional customer service! Do not use Green Carpet Lawn Service. I had my first treatment this spring and misplaced the invoice. I called the Green Carpet Co and asked them to send me another one, which they did. In the notes section was a note from a tech. It said ( Rec. lime. Customer said he could do it cheaper and declined on 4/9. Customer is an a--hole. Always wants something for nothing or can do it cheaper himself.) When asked about the comments I was told that information was for the office only and I should not have received it. Dah. Also they had to come back and do the first treatment again because they missed so much area the first time. We are done! read more

Wish I didn't have to give it one star. Company is quick to take your money, then when you want some crab grass sprayed the tech never comes back to spray, we have spent plenty in water bills to water my lawn but it has no improvement, I've tried to speak to the owner but she is unreachable. So canceled back in July 2015 I was told I'd get a refund check but I have yet to see it, I do not recommend this company and I will be starting a complaint with the BBB read more

I am displeased to turn against a local company after several years of service but during the last two seasons the service has deteriorated and treatment prices have escalated. During the last two years they burned the grass in several spots and frankly the lawn is not looking as good as before. Therefore, we are compelled to switch to another company and stop recommending GCLC to neighbors. read more
