I've been to a few different nail salons in the county and Green Clover is by far my favorite one. Every single one of the nail techs here are amazing at what they do and are very friendly. They take their time and are meticulous with the mani/pedis. I find that my gel manicures from here last longer than any other salon in the area. I usually get a green tea spa pedicure which includes a foot scrub, mask, heat therapy, 15 minute leg/foot massage, paraffin treatment, and callus removal. Mid pedicure, they'll even offer a little bottle of water and coconut crackers as a little treat. They also recently installed new massage chairs for an added comfort. They are usually able to accommodate you day of if you come early, but if you need a specific time, I recommend calling in advance and making a reservation. There is also a parking lot to the side of the salon which makes parking here very convenient. I always leave here feeling very pleased with the service and quality of the nails. It's a little further away than the salons near my home but it's 100% worth the extra drive. The techs commute to the salon from Queens everyday so they have a long commute and a long working day, which makes me appreciate them so much more! read more

Pleasantly surprised! Open in Sundays, takes walk-ins, reasonable prices. The vibe is chill (soft classical music, News 12 on the TV), there's free wi-fi, and I was very pleased with the service. I had a mani-ped; the nail tech didn't try to aggressively upsell add-ons and wasn't judgy that i like my nails *really* short. I think the majority of customers get gel or dip (tons of color options), but I'm a regular polish kinda girl and was satisfied with the selection of Essie and OPI polishes (among other brands). I've had my nails done at several other spots in the Monroe area and was disappointed each time, so this will be my new place when visiting my hometown. read more

It was ok. The pedicure was fine, nothing special but nothing bad either. I didn't appreciate that the moment I entered the door a woman loudly asked "Pedicure?" And I said yes and she yelled "PICK COLOR". No greeting, just "pick color". She also seemed kind of judgy about me not having children yet. Apparently because I've been married for 10 years it's bad that I don't have children. Oh well, I know that kind of stuff is pretty normal in a nail salon but it did reduce the relaxation factor of the experience for me. read more

Went here for the first time on a whim and completely blown away! Really amazing work done by Coco. You can tell they really pay attention to detail on each nail. One problem I have though is communicating what I would like, and them forcing their opinions on my nails. I've been getting acrylic gel for a few years and when I first came here, they told me that this was my first time getting acrylic (???) and I should start off with a powder dip. It obviously wasn't my first time since i was supposed to be getting a fill in. They did the powder dip anyway, despite what I told them a couple times, and two weeks later, two vacations later, 8 of those nails broke. I don't consider myself a very clumsy or aggressive person, but it would be a simple pressing the power button on my phone that would break a nail. I've heard this salon telling other customers to get the powder dip too, and the customers tell them no many times before they give in! This incident isn't that big of a deal since they know now. The same visit, I tried to tell them the length I like my acrylic tips. It would have been a similar length to the ones I already had on, just trimmed the amount they grew out. I told the lady doing my nails and she went on to shape a whole hand. When she started on the second hand, Coco, who sits next to her, told her to cut them shorter. I said to Coco that I liked that length and she told me they were too long and told the lady to cut them shorter. I said ok because it wasn't that big of a deal, but a little disappointing. Overall good work and I'm pleased with the outcome of the designs and work done by these nail techs. They may be a little pushy with what they think is good for you but you have to emphasize what you want! Very nice people, good experience with them, highly recommend. read more

They were able to accommodate me as a last minute walk-in before closing (45min before closing time - I called first to make sure there was time/space) for a dip manicure. I asked for an Ombre glitter which they did a nice job on however after 7 days the dip started chipping off, by 14 days I was experiment complete dip failure. I work in an office so I am not hard on my hands. So I am disappointed. It is possible dip is a newer service and they have not perfected their techniques yet. I would not recommend for Dip but their pedicure chairs were full of happy folks so I am willing to guess their traditional polish and gels are great. read more

This is a great nail spot but the last couple of times I have come here haven't been so great. I was actually there a day ago and I usually get Cindy but I gotten Amy. What I can say is I kept my cool because I was about to flip out for messing up on my nails and not pay for them . I asked for round nails and I kept on looking at my nails and they were square. Amy said what's wrong I said I did not ask for square nails I said I wanted round nails for about the 3rd time. She looked at me with the oh shit look on and I said yes you messed up my nails and now there is nothing to file down to . So now my nails are half rounded and half squared I am not a happy camper . Also when I was getting my nails done they had to soak off from the gel . A couple of times when Amy had to come back and stop not once have I seen her wash her hands so if she had a another client or if she was touching food they weren't washed to come back and finish up my nails. Plus I can't stand when they keep on file your nails all the way down the the nail bed , now u have all ridges on my nails and spots as well. Also another pet peeve is when you make a appointment you tell them what type of services you want . Whenever I get there the owner or whoever else is doing my nails will come up to you and are you going to get a massage today and if you tell them no or I don't have time they start to laugh and speak in a different language. Stopped here on a Sunday early afternoon as a walk in. Got a pedicure and gel manicure. It's smallish inside, but appeared clean and the service was good. My nails came out nice. Amy did my pedicure and I am not sure who did my gel manicure, but both manicurists were thorough. I would recommend the salon if you are in the area. My new go-to nail salon! This place is CLEAN, everyone is super friendly, and yes, they offer free water, tea, and cookies. They offer a discount every day - M-W is 20% off and Th-S is 10% off. The prices are pretty reasonable to begin with, but I guess having the discount makes you feel like you save money?! I guess so. I think the best part about this salon are the spa pedicures. Yes, they are a splurge ranging from $45-$75, but with the discount, it's not bad and the value of what you get is worth it. Typically they give you 10 or 20 minute foot massages (based on which package), paraffin, scrub, foot mask.... but OMG your feet feel SO soft afterwards. I've tried the green tea ($45) and the pearl ($55), and both were amazing. I've also noticed that the manicures here stay on longer than typical nail salons. They know what they are doing, and I've never had a bad experience here. If you want, you can get special OPI manicures for $2 extra, with a special base and top coat, so that it stays on even longer. It can get busy, so make sure to call in advance! read more

Stopped by the other day for an acrylic fill in with a gel polish and it was a great experience. I had called and they said I could come in anytime. The interior decor is really cute and everyone is super friendly and everything is clean and hygienic . They have coffee cookies, water etc. and are very welcoming. I love the way my nails came out as she took a lot of time and attention to make in sure they were nice. Their prices are even better, very reasonable plus they have 20% off which makes everything so much better. My new favorite salon. Have been here maybe 5 or 6 times hoping that the previous experiences were a one off. The prices are average but the owner and even some employees tend to try to strong arm you into a more expensive option. The quality of the experience is maybe slightly below average. The interior seems slightly dirty and outdated, and the job done on my nails seems to chip very quickly and when I've come for acrilycs in the past they've broken within a week. For me it's not worth it at all to go here despite it being a five minute drive from my house when if I drive 10-15 more minutes into Ramsey or Nanuet they're are better options. I don't like products being pushed on me and especially not when the quality of work is slightly below average. read more

I came here after work and I got gel tips with a green tea pedicure and it was the best service ever!!! The lady that did my tips asked questions on how I wanted my nails and that's what I love when they ask questions cause some people just stay quiet and never say what bothers them on the length or the shape but no my girl asked me if I was happy with everything the lenght the shape, She took her time knowing that they will look as perfect as they look now. The girl that did my pedicure was amazing too she took all my dead skin out and she did a mask and massaged me for 15min. I love this nail spa!!! I go there every other Saturday and it's so nice! When ever I want a design on my gel manicure they have no prob with it and make it look so good! I also love how the message seats are set up. They are so relaxing too! It only takes about 25 minutes for a gel manicure, and 15 for a regular pedicure!! So quick and great service! The gentleman that works there is good but the owner/manager has a bad attitude and is dishonest. I stopped going there over a year ago due to her ruining my nails with a gel manicure assuring me they would be ok. My daughters convinced me to give it another try. We made an appt. but she over booked, didn't want to explain the process of tips to my daughter and lied about how it's done. She filed down my older daughter's long nails deliberately and had an attitude with her while doing her nails and rushing through. I will NEVER go there again and instead will go to one of the numerous salons in the area. The owner/manager better check herself and learn this lesson: you never know how many people your customer knows! Show some respect! read more

This just opened in Tuxedo and I wanted to support a new business in our town so I went a few days after it opened. I was very impressed. Service was great, the people were so nice, the place was spotless and the prices were very reasonable. If you come here, expect to get the royal treatment! This is a beautiful new salon and the staff knows how to treat their customers. I have been coming here since about June and every time I leave feeling great and relaxed. Coco always does my nails and she is absolutely fabulous. My nails will look beautiful - no chipping or breaking - for upwards of 2 weeks before I go back to get them filled (acrylic + gel paint withstands EVERYTHING). Their spa pedicures are AMAZING, and yes, treat yourself to one of the higher end ones! The massage alone will make you feel like a new person. I've taken friends and my mother here and they all rave about this place. It's well worth the 25 minute drive to get here from where I live. A nice touch is the complimentary water or tea and cookies they pass out. You really feel welcome and comfortable here. Also, this place is always immaculate - it's beautiful inside and VERY clean! My boyfriend's mom (from Tuxedo) gave me a gift card for here, it's 2 seconds from their house so it's very convenient! I got a gel manicure for $20, and the service was amazing! Very cute, clean and hygienic place. They made me feel right at home. Coco is such a sweetheart and Alex (the one who did my nails) was great! I just walked in and they pretty much got right to me. They offered me delicious tea and yummy coconut crackers. I've had my gel nails for exactly a week today and there is not one chip in them. Still going strong!
