When you go to a "spa" and spend tons of money for a manicure and a pedicure and gels and nail art you want some peace, being that it's your day off, your Saturday. Do not expect to get that here! Every five minutes the phone rings and you hear "Hi Stacey". If you're going to take the day off, don't harass your customers with phone calls every 10 minutes to the salon interrupting what is supposed to be a serene experience. Furthermore, I signed up for a membership via text. I never signed anything. I was never given a copy of the contract in writing so today when I was told that my technician was no longer there I canceled my upcoming appointments as I don't know any of the other technicians. I asked for a refund. I was told that they don't give refunds then I found out that I couldn't use my credit at another location, which was also never told to me. I asked her to email me a copy of the contract. She said that they didn't have the capability to email. It's 2025 you don't have the capability to email but you're currently texting me????? I also brought it up that I was overcharged at the last visit and I asked for a refund for the balance. I was denied that as well. Every time I went there and requested one of the latest trends they couldn't do it because the owner is too cheap to purchase the polish and implements required. I am disgusted at the way this owner treated me. I'm disgusted at how I have been manipulated and lied to and I am disgusted that every Saturday when I went there I had to listen to the phone ringing nonstop as she called to micromanage the staff......those poor girls. The only thing the salon had going for it was my amazing nail technician and now she's gone, so I won't be getting my nails done anymore. The fact that this establishment is in Wyckoff and I had to file several disputes with my bank because this is the type of owner I'm dealing with makes me sick having grown up in Bergen County. Shame on you this is not how you treat people, customers OR employees! I really hope this was worth the $155 to you!

I called prior to make an appointment and asked if they offered acrylic. The women on the phone said yes powder. Well acrylic is made up of a powder and monomer. We get there and they started right away on our nails which was great. But... the nail tech starts immediately taking off my old acrylic and gel polish and she had said acrylic is bad for the nails/the worst. So I then asked again if they had acrylic she again responded with "powder". She takes out the stuff and I ask her more. She judges me for the fact that I wanted acrylic. When she was filing with the drill she did not take off all of the lifted parts of the nail but instead took clippers to clip it off. That hurts. I told her later I wanted an arch to my nails and she asked if I meant the shape. I then showed her by pointing to my nails what I meant by the arch. She kept saying yes and then didn't do anything about it. So I got the dip powder which was not applied very well at all which meant more filing of the nails. After putting on the gel polish and top coat (which was obviously not applied to the entire nail) she filed the nail more so some of the polish came off. The shape of most of the nails came to be very nice at least. It was $55. They were very nice and from what I could tell the place was clean. However, I was not told of the price beforehand nor was I given the product I wanted. I booked the appointment with the owner for both my sister and I but he did neither. He instead gave us a back massage which was very nice but for the main event of the nails.. I will never go back. A lot can be said for a language barrier Update: a chunk of gel polish fell off my nail in the shower. Update 2: I went back the next day after the nail chipped and they fixed it right away.
