First, I know for a fact, that some parents are glued to those cameras everyday, and call the school for any unimportant reason, affecting the work the staff does. Secondly, the parents that are upset for this, need to grow up and understand that when their children leave Cadence Academy for any other school, there won't be any cameras, so, what are they going to do then? Not take their kids to school? It's just ridiculous. Lastly, I have to say that I don't care about the cameras, because I have an immense amount of trust in the staff, who have always been great to me and my daughters and, my girls have done great too. I have nothing but good things to say about Cadence Academy Doral. To the parents that are upset about the cameras, I would recommend, that If you can't find something better to do with your life, than being stuck to a screen, watching a camera all day, you should reconsider your life choices, and if you don't trust a school that has such a great staff of loving and caring people, then you should maybe try homeschooling, you already seem to have enough time to waste.

There is constant penny-pinching -- parents are repeatedly given long shopping lists (30+ items) for small things like napkins and supplies, even when bringing food. Costs go up every year, yet services and activities continue to be reduced. When concerns are raised, Ms. Meybis shows little interest in resolving them. Each complaint is met with the same reaction, and no real action is ever taken. It's frustrating to see tuition increase while the quality and offerings decrease year after year. Because of this, we ultimately chose to leave. I would strongly recommend parents look elsewhere -- Kinuvu on 22nd is a much better option.

Throughout their journey, our children have had consistently the same teachers and an abundance of love and patience. Their curriculum is rigorous, but age-appropriate. Our children graduated knowing basic math principles and reading short sentences. GSKA provides lunch, an exciting summer camp program, and fun activities throughout the year. They make an effort to constantly have events and create memories for their students. However the teachers at the school were always so sweet and comforting with him that he loves going there now. They foster a loving environment and give so much attention to every child. Actually a friend of mine whose kid was in different class,pulled her kid before this school year,pointing out that school has some issues. I don't know if that's because the director changed or the school run out of money,but activities became so limited.Most of the days kids just doing coloring and painting,not much of diverse materials are used even though you pay for it.Last year was much better regarding this.Curriculum missing some creativity. This year there have been zero field trips even though they were promised. Instead of taking kids to a museum tour as a field trip,they invite you(it's optional activity)to bring your kids on the weekend for a museum tour and charge you like 60$ per ticket.Ridiculous. Christmas party that was planned for a while was basically a bounce house. Other important thing,they are short on staff. The pictures of daily kids activities are posted on the app not very often.For that I don't blame the teacher(my kid teacher is great by the way,knowledgeable,passionate and caring and we really like her),but she is by herself most of the times so obviously can't do everything.
