I arranged a deep tissue longer session and I am very glad that I did. My body felt quite broken from a week, driving up the West Coast and a week sleeping on the floor. She was kind, professional, attentive and provided exactly what I had asked for: deep tissue work. I have been to many massages and often it is simply someone putting oil on me and rubbing it around on my skin. My mother is a professional masseuse and I've yet to experience someone up to par with her work. This was. Mariana worked on the areas that were tight and blocking my body and energy without me even going into detail as she sensed and found the knots by feeling. I highly recommend her for deep tissue work and an excellent energy- she was friendly, comforting and the session was both peaceful and fun. I spoke to the front desk manager and she told me it is the process to look at the referral before scheduling the appointment and that was not done. They called me on Sunday to tell me that I don't need to pay on Monday because my referral expired and it's pending on insurance and did not explain that to me that during that period if it's not covered, that I will be responsible for it since I did not have a referral on file they made it seem that I should be fine I can still come and did not explain anything to me. I called and spoke to the front desk manager. She said that I had Kaiser and I haven't had Kaiser in 2022 and she said that she looked at my last appointment and that's why she briefly looked at it. I think it's interesting that our manager mentioned my insurance that I haven't had for Over two years now then I asked do I needed a doctor referral or an instrument referral because what I sent was actually a doctors referral with my doctor signature on it. So now my doctor won't backdate referral and I'm responsible for the balance, and the manager said that it was a voicemail left about that situation which nothing was a voicemail. It was actually verbal communication. Then I got transferred to billing department without knowing.
