My dog Oscar has been going to this kennels every summer for 8 years and he loves it. When we arrive he can hardly wait to get in and romp around the meadows. Yes, he comes out a bit thinner but that is because he is on the go the whole time he is in there playing with like minded dogs each morning and afternoon. I always give them lots of extra food so they can feed him up but basically he doesn't stop running and playing the whole time he is there so I feed him up before he goes in there which helps. When he gets back in my car after I collect him he always has a kiss and a lick for the staff who handle him brilliantly. Coming down from the top as per the other review - that's because the dogs tend to be out in the meadow not in the kennel when we collect them. The only downside I can see is that he gets bored just being with me after he's had so any friends for 3 weeks and gives me a hard time demanding i chase him round the garden! Were do I start ok so after being recommend by this place I thought I'd give it a go well I wish I didn't. .. an never again will my dog be going to this place so wen I went to look at the kennels seem nice fresh basic showed me the kennels on the left dog pens on the right an that was all but a peace of mind knowing I got told the dogs would be out 3 hours in the morring and 3 hours in the afternoon an cleaned twice. Well how shocking I was to collect my dog not to mention the rudeness so my dog came from up the top of the pathway I was never showed I wasn't aloud to see were he was staying etc he came down looking weak I'll and underweight now I feel like a bad owner he had lost that much weigh he slips out of his harness to play with the other dogs to then get a boot in his face by the owner made me soon angry my dog isn't aggressive wat so ever and there was no need for that I stroked my dog to feel it felt like he had just come out of the freezer he was that cold he was shaking walking home I no dog loose weigh in kennels but over my dead body had he gone from xl harness to now a medium he clearly wasn't feed right if feed at all lost blankets an I wasn't even given the food back he was supposed to be fed on... my dog weed an poo all the way home like he hadn't been out in a long time wen I did get home 3 bowls of water in one go an scoffed his food like he hadn't eaten in weeks disgusting he now has bad ear infection an slept all day he was soo pink in the face I have taken this further as he hasn't been the same an to not show me were my dog has slept has alarm bells going for me he hasn't been treated right at all I'll be making my views very clear on this nasty place !!!!! read more
